    • Two more steals Sunday
Rengifo went 2-for-4 with two steals and a run in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Angels. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Rengifo ended a mini 0-for-8 skid at the plate with two hits Sunday and managed to swipe two more bags to bring him up to 17 for the year. Rengifo already has five steals in eight games this month and now sits tied for sixth in baseball. He now has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 18 games and continues to be one of the most consistent hitters in the Angels' lineup. The 27-year-old is now slashing .316/.367/.448 with four homers, 18 RBI, 25 runs and a 12:27 BB:K in 189 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:26 am

    • Swipes bag in return
Marte went 1-for-4 with a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Marte was back in Sunday's lineup after being scratched Saturday due to back soreness. His back didn't appear to hinder him, as he picked up just his second steal of the season after walking to leadoff the fourth. Marte has been scorching hot at the plate in June, slashing .462/.548/.846 with three homers, six RBI, six runs and a 4:5 BB:K over his last seven games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:34 am

    • Collects third win
Garcia (3-0) struck out one in a perfect inning Sunday to pick up the win over Oakland.

Advice: The Blue Jays won 6-3 in the 10th inning, handing Garcia the victory after he preserved the tie in the ninth. The right-hander has either a win or a save in four straight appearances, and he's been Toronto's next high-leverage option this season, posting a 2.08 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 34:7 K:BB through 26 innings with nine holds and four saves in addition to his three wins. • Set to resume throwing program
Romano (elbow) is expected to resume throwing Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: The right-hander will throw from flat ground and stretch out to 150 feet before beginning mound work. The Blue Jays are proceeding cautiously with their closer after he received an anti-inflammatory injection June 2, but Romano might still be able to avoid a rehab stint before being activated from the injured list. • Credited with Sunday's win
Henry (2-2) picked up Sunday's win, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out one over 2.1 innings against the Padres.

Advice: Henry followed opener Scott McGough and was the pitcher of record when the Diamondbacks scored six times in the second inning. It was a long day for Henry, who was called up from Triple-A Reno late Saturday and flew early Sunday to be in San Diego in time for the game. The left-hander was in Arizona's rotation early this season, and injuries could lead to at least one turn in the coming week. In addition to the injuries, performance may play a role in Henry staying longer. If he pitches well this week, Henry could overtake Slade Cecconi (5.66 ERA), Jordan Montgomery (6.80) or Ryne Nelson (5.96) once the injured starters return. Rotowire.com Today, 5:47 am

    • Crumbles in extra-inning loss
McArthur (2-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning to take the extra-inning loss versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: McArthur's tumultuous pitching continued after a brief three-inning scoreless streak to begin June. He got into trouble in the 10th inning Sunday, allowing an RBI single to Julio Rodriguez and a two-run single to Cal Raleigh. The Royals nearly overcame it with another comeback push, but that fell short. McArthur has given up multiple runs five times this season, with four of those outings coming since the start of May. He's at a 5.27 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB through 27.1 innings while adding 12 saves in 16 chances. While he's generally kept decent control, he's giving up too much contact to be reliable, though the same can be said for a majority of the Royals' relievers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:17 pm
    • Picks up 18th save
Finnegan earned the save Sunday, striking out one in a perfect inning against Atlanta.

Advice: Finnegan entered in the ninth frame after a Jarred Kelenic blast cut the Washington lead to three and needed only 11 pitches to finish off Atlanta and secure his 18th save in 20 opportunities. Finnegan has contributed 23 scoreless outings over 26 appearances spanning 26 innings this season, lowering his ERA to 1.73 and WHIP to 0.88 with Sunday's effort. • James McArthur gives up three runs to take loss
James McArthur took a loss to the Mariners on Sunday after allowing three runs — two earned — in the 10th inning.

Advice: It was his third appearance in four days. McArthur had been perfect in three outings since a disastrous May 31 outing in which he gave up four runs without retiring a batter to take a blown save. This pushes his ERA back up to 5.27, and the Royals are going to have start thinking about giving John Schreiber save chances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:22 pm
    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drives in two in win over Pads
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBI on Sunday as the Diamondbacks throttled the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder smacked a two-run double off of Adam Mazur in the second inning and rode home on Jake McCarthy’s two-run blast. He also singled in the fourth inning and raced around to score on a two-out RBI single by Eugenio Suarez. With his two-hit attack, Gurriel is now hitting .247/.287/.405 with nine homers, 39 RBI and three swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:21 pm
