    • Marcus Stroman beats Braves to improve to 7-3
Marcus Stroman picked up his seventh victory of the season on Saturday night, limiting the Braves to three runs on just three hits over his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: Stroman piled up six strikeouts on the evening while issuing a pair of walks. The 33-year-old hurler had allowed just one run through his first six innings of work, but he returned for the seventh where he served up a two-run blast to Travis d’Arnaud before exiting. Stroman got 12 swings and misses on 93 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 27 percent. Now 7-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.15 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and a 67/40 K/BB ratio (91 1/3 innings) into Friday’s battle against the Blue Jays in Toronto. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

    • Perfect inning for save
Clase struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Clase retired the side on 15 pitches for his 23rd save of the season. He's pitched four perfect innings over his last four appearances after giving up runs in back-to-back outings June 9 and 11. The 26-year-old has been nearly untouchable for the Guardians with a 0.74 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 37:3 K:BB over 36.1 innings. He's posted over 40 saves in back-to-back years, and he's well on his way to making it three campaigns in a row. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago
    • Clase picks up 23rd save against Blue Jays
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Clase’s save was his 23rd of the season. His ERA is down to a sparkling 0.74 after he retired the Blue Jays in order. Clase is building a case to be the best closer in baseball this season. Rotoworld Today, 4:05 pm
    • Wheeler goes seven, strikes out eight in win
Zack Wheeler allowed one run in seven innings and got the win in the Phillies’ 12-1 victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Wheeler gave up two hits, walked none and struck out eight. The win was his ninth on the year. It was a big time bounce back from Wheeler, who had allowed eight runs to the Orioles in his last start. He looked like his normal self while dominating the Diamondbacks on Saturday. Wheeler’s ERA is now 2.73 on the season. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Marlins at home next weekend.

    • Landford has two hits, grand slam in win Saturday
Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s home run was just his third of the year, but he’s been heating up at the plate lately. Since returning from the injured list, he’s 23-for-77 (.298) with two home runs and 19 RBI in 21 games. Langford still has plenty of time over the rest of the season to live up to the lofty preseason expectations. Rotoworld Today, 3:41 pm

    • Jordan Westburg homers in loss to Astros
Jordan Westburg connected on a solo homer in a loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Westburg’s homer accounted for the only run of the game for the Orioles; a solo shot in the second off Ronel Blanco. The 25-year-old has put together a solid first half with 12 homers, 36 RBI and .837 OPS over his 267 at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 3:31 pm

    • Yu Darvish (groin) expected to return on Tuesday
Yu Darvish (groin) is expected to rejoin the Padres’ rotation on Tuesday.

Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander made it through a minor league rehab start at High-A Fort Wayne without any issues on Wednesday and will square off with the Nationals at home on Tuesday night. Before landing on the injured list in late May with a strained groin, Darvish had posted a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 53/15 K/BB ratio over 56 1/3 innings through his first 11 starts on the season. • Expected to start Tuesday
Darvish (groin) is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Nationals, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Darvish is set to make his first start since May 29 after an IL stint due to left groin soreness. The 37-year-old made a minor-league rehab start at High-A on Wednesday but only got up to 49 pitches and will likely be under some sort of pitch count against the Nationals. Across 11 starts, Darvish owns a 3.20 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP with 53 strikeouts. Rotowire.com Today, 2:49 pm

    • Next start will be with Padres
Darvish (groin) is expected to come off the injured list to make his next start with San Diego, per MLB.com.

Advice: Darvish struggled in a minor-league rehab start with High-A Fort Wayne on Wednesday, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out three batters over 3.1 innings. He threw only 49 pitches in that outing, but the Padres nonetheless appear intent on moving him back into the rotation for his next appearance. It hasn't yet been announced when Darvish will make that start, but given the typical time between outings, it's logical to expect Monday or Tuesday versus Washington to be the target date.
