    • Hunter Greene looks good against LAD
Hunter Greene allowed two runs on four hits in 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Greene struck out eight and walked just two on the day. He also posted a 35 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW as the four-seam fastball carved up the Dodgers on Sunday. Greene also allowed just one extra-base hit, but it happened to be a home run to Andy Pages. All of that pre-season talk of Greene adding another pitch was much ado about nothing, as Greene threw just eight splitters on the day and earned one whiff, but his slider command has improved and Greene has a 3.22 ERA on the season heading into a rematch against these Dodgers next week. • Sean Manaea wins, strikes out four
Sean Manaea allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and got the win.

Advice: This was a very Manaea start, going five frames, missing bats, and limiting damage. He’s been very solid this season with a 3.11 ERA and three wins in nine starts. Walks have been an issue for him, but not on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm
    • Cole Irvin gets hold in first relief appearance
Cole Irvin worked two scoreless innings for a hold Sunday in his first relief appearance of the season.

Advice: The Orioles are probably going to use a six-man rotation for most of the next month, so Irvin could be back in the mix next time through. It’s pretty fortunate for the Orioles that they can view him as their sixth starter in spite of his 4-1 record and 2.90 ERA in seven starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm
    • George Kirby gives up two homers in loss
George Kirby surrendered five runs in six innings Sunday in a loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Kirby seemed pretty unlucky in a couple of his early-season starts that left him with an inflated ERA, but the Orioles knocked him around pretty good today. He allowed two homers among 11 hard-hit balls, and he struck out only three. The loss leaves him 4-4 with a 3.99 ERA, though his ERA is 2.50 over his last six starts. • Josh Rojas finishes hitless in third straight game
Josh Rojas went hitless in a third straight game Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: He’s in a 3-for-26 slump over his last seven games, and he hasn’t had an extra-base hit since May 5. It’s unfortunate for the Mariners, but if Rojas had to slump, he’s done so at a time when it wouldn’t affect his playing time, what with Jorge Polanco and J.P. Crawford both hurt. It doesn’t seem like Rojas will cease being a fixture versus righties anytime soon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm

    • Jhoan Duran takes loss against Guardians
Jhoan Duran allowed a walk-off, three-run homer to Will Brennan on Sunday. He also walked two.

Advice: Duran administered free passes to Andrés Giménez and Josh Naylor before Will Brennan barely cleared the right field fence to win the game. That one home run ballooned Duran’s ERA from 1.13 to 4.15. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:16 pm

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Advice: Smith will get a breather for Sunday's series finale after going 1-for-7 with a walk and an RBI in the first two games of the series. Austin Barnes will step in behind the plate to catch for Landon Knack. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:57 am

    • Will Smith gets Sunday off against Reds
Will Smith is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: Smith gets his usual Sunday day off. Austin Barnes will handle catching while Smith rests and hit ninth against Cincinnati. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:12 am

    • J.T. Realmuto on bench to begin Sunday vs. Nats
J.T. Realmuto is not in the lineup to begin Sunday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: Realmuto will take a seat Sunday for the finale against the Nationals. Garrett Stubbs will handle catching duties in Realmuto’s absence and hit eighth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:55 am
