    • Falls apart Thursday
Harvey (2-2) took the loss Thursday against Atlanta, coughing up three runs on four hits in an inning of relief.

Advice: Taking the mound with the score tied 2-2, Harvey got two quick outs before the wheels came off, with the rally highlighted by Marcell Ozuna's two-run homer on a slider that caught too much of the plate. Harvey had been scored upon only once in his prior 10 appearances, and the long ball was just the second he's served up this season in 31.1 innings. The right-hander has been generally outstanding as the Nationals' top setup man, posting a 2.87 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 34:6 K:BB, and his 18 holds already has him one away from his career high. • Smashes three-run homer
De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Thursday in an 8-4 victory against the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz, on the one-year anniversary of his MLB debut, turned a two-run Reds deficit into a one-run lead with a three-run blast in the third frame. The long ball was his second in three contests following a season-long 21-game homer drought. After tallying 13 homers and 35 RBI over 98 games as a rookie last season, De La Cruz is nearing those marks with 11 long balls and 32 thefts through 63 contests in 2024. • Nabs 16th save
Iglesias pitched a perfect inning to earn a save against the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: Iglesias made quick work of Washington in the ninth inning, needing just nine pitches to set the side down in order. The veteran closer has converted each of his past eight save chances, allowing three runs over 10 frames during that span. Iglesias hasn't been punching out batters at his usual rate this season -- he has just 16 strikeouts through 23.1 innings -- but he nonetheless is tied for fifth in the majors with 16 saves (in 18 chances). • Paul Sewald turns in hitless inning for save
Paul Seward pitched a hitless ninth with a one-run lead for his seventh save Thursday against the Padres.

Advice: Sewald has been about as tough as ever since returning from an oblique strain a month ago. He has a 0.87 ERA and is 7-for-7 saving games this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:11 pm
    • Collects seventh save
Sewald walked one and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Sewald has three saves over four outings in June and is up to seven saves in as many chances this season. The closer has maintained excellent ratios as well with a 0.87 ERA, 0.48 WHIP and 11:2 K:BB over 10.1 innings. While the Diamondbacks have underwhelmed to limit Sewald's save chances, he's been nearly untouchable when called upon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:58 pm
    • De La Cruz blasts 11th home run in win Thursday
Elly De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: De La Cruz took Javier Assad deep in the third inning for his 11th home run of the season. He’s only hitting .240, but with 11 home runs and 32 stolen bases already De La Cruz is on the fast track to having a first round ADP next season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:48 pm

    • Railes Iglesias gets 16th save Thursday
Raisel Iglesias tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: The save was Iglesias’ 16th of the season, but his lack of strikeouts this season is evident. He has struck out seven in his last 12 innings. Iglesias’ 17 percent strikeout percentage on the season is by far the lowest of his career and could catch up with him eventually. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:02 pm
    • Short outing vs. Cleveland
Singer didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Singer's final line could've been much worse, as matched a season high with nine hits allowed while failing to make it through four innings. Prior to Thursday, Singer hadn't allowed more than one earned run in five of his last six outings. Overall, the 27-year-old right-hander is 4-2 on the year with a 2.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 66:20 K:BB across 12 starts (65.1 innings) this season. Singer's currently in line for a home matchup with the Yankees in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:44 pm

    • Singer allows nine hits, two runs in no-decision
Brady Singer gave up nine hits and three runs — two earned — over 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision versus the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Singer was making his first start since being unavailable due to illness. It didn’t go particularly well, as he needed 70 pitches to get 11 outs while allowing plenty of traffic throughout the contest. The 27-year-old still has a 2.76 ERA, and he has only given up more than two earned runs twice in his dozen starts. The Yankees are next, assuming Kansas City stays on scheduled with their rotation.
