He has a 9:1 K:BB in that span, though he has allowed three earned runs. While Pete Fairbanks (thumb) isn't expected to be sidelined long, Adam could get a short-term look in save scenarios.       Brown (4-5) earned the win against the White Sox on Wednesday, allowing one run on seven hits and no walks while striking out six batters over six innings.

      Advice: The only run scored against Brown came on an Andrew Benintendi solo homer in the fourth inning. Otherwise, Brown was solid again -- all six of Chicago's other hits were singles, and the right-handed hurler didn't issue any walks for the second straight outing. Brown had an awful 9.78 ERA through 23 innings across his first six starts this season, but he's since lowered that mark to 4.72.       Advice: Gelof’s only hit of the day left the yard as he took Dan Altavilla deep for a solo shot in the eighth inning to extend the Oakland lead. It was Geldof’s second homer in as many days.       Advice: Peralta bounced back after a six-run outing to make his best start of the season on Wednesday. He held the Angels scoreless over six innings, striking out eight batters on 18 whiffs. He scattered three hits and two walks, tossing 60-of-101 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 106/29 K/BB ratio across 82 innings.
