    • Suffers hand fracture
Betts (wrist) suffered a fractured bone in his left hand in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Betts exited the game in the seventh inning in a heap of pain after taking a fastball off his left hand/wrist and he'll now be sidelined for a significant amount of time. On the bright side, manager Dave Roberts said that the 31-year-old will not need surgery to repair the injury. Betts will likely be placed on the injured list Monday and in his absence, Miguel Rojas could step into a starting role at shortstop for Los Angeles. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

    • Mookie Betts diagnosed with fractured left hand
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters after Sunday’s game that Mookie Betts has been diagnosed with a fractured left hand.

Advice: The unfortunate injury occurred when he was hit by a 98 mph fastball during Sunday’s game against the Royals. Roberts relayed that while the injury will not require surgery, it will take time to heal. He wouldn’t elaborate on that timetable, other than to say that the injury will not end his 2024 season. Expect Miguel Rojas to see increased action at shortstop while the 31-year-old superstar is shelved. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

    • Exits after being hit by pitch
Betts exited Sunday's contest with the Royals in the seventh inning after being hit in the left hand by a pitch, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: Betts took a 97.9 mph fastball from reliever Dan Altavilla off his left hand in the bottom of the seventh inning, immediately exiting the contest afterwards. The 31-year-old was in an obvious amount of pain and more information on his status will likely come following the conclusion of the game. Rotowire.com Today, 3:11 pm

    • Mookie Betts leaves game after hit by pitch Sunday
Mookie Betts was removed from Sunday’s battle against the Royals after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a 98 mph fastball.

Advice: The 31-year-old superstar was in obvious pain afterwards and the Dodgers immediately made the call to replace him with pinch-runner Miguel Rojas. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. The Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly. • Luis Arraez with two more hits Sunday
Luis Arraez went 2-for-5 with a double on Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Arraez was on point in this one. All five of his balls in play were hit at least 95 MPH and he continues to be an engine atop the Padres’ order. His batting average is up to .326 which is best in the National League among qualified players. Rotoworld Today, 2:14 pm

    • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Today, 1:06 pm

    • Remains out of lineup
Doyle (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Doyle will take a seat for the second day in a row while he manages left patella tendinitis. Jake Cave will step in as the Rockies' starting center field in place of Doyle, who can be viewed as day-to-day heading into the team's four-game home set with the Dodgers that begins Monday. • Sitting in opening game of day
Langeliers is out of the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Twins.

Advice: Langeliers will get a breather for the early game of the twin bill as Kyle McCann draws the starting nod behind the dish. Expect Langeliers to check back into the lineup as the Athletics' starting catcher for the nightcap. Rotowire.com Today, 11:38 am

    • Ready for rehab stint
Jung (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung, who suffered a fractured right wrist early in the season, resumed swinging the bat in late May and progressed to live batting practice earlier this week. He's now ready for game action, which puts a return to the Rangers before the end of the month very much on the table. Expect Jung to slot back in at third base immediately upon activation after his All-Star campaign in 2023. Rotowire.com Today, 10:37 am
