• Dodgers expect Betts (hand) to miss 6-8 weeks
The Dodgers’ current guess is that Mookie Betts will miss 6-8 weeks with a fractured left hand.

Advice: Sounds about right. The Dodgers will mostly go with Miguel Rojas at shortstop for now; manager Dave Roberts said he’d start three of the four games in Colorado this week. Enrique Hernández figures to get the nod in the other. Rotoworld Today, 5:23 pm

  • Likely to miss 6-to-8 weeks
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that the expectation is Betts (wrist) will be sidelined 6-to-8 weeks, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The timeline is a rough estimate, as Roberts noted that much will depend on how Betts' fractured left wrist heals in the coming weeks. If Roberts' suggested timetable holds true, that means Betts will be out at least until late July. Miguel Rojas is expected to be the Dodgers' regular shortstop while Betts is on the shelf. • Might not need rehab assignment
Rodgers (hamstring) went through a full workout Monday at Coors Field and the Rockies are still deciding whether he needs a rehab assignment before being activated, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Rodgers resumed baseball activities a few days ago and it appears he's continued to progress without issue. He's eligible for activation from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, and while there's no indication he'll return on that date, it doesn't appear to have been ruled out. Adael Amador has been filling in for Rodgers at second base but is likely to be sent back to Double-A Hartford once Rodgers is ready. Rotowire.com Today, 3:15 pm

  • Out of lineup but available
Rengifo (wrist) is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Brewers, Michael Huntley of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Advice: Rengifo exited Sunday's loss to the Giants with a left wrist contusion as a result of a hit by pitch. The super utility player said he'll be available off the bench Monday, so it would seem he'll have a good shot to return to the lineup Tuesday. Luis Guillorme is handling third base in Rengifo's stead. Rotowire.com Today, 2:57 pm

  • Angels activate Brandon Drury from injured list
Angels activated INF Brandon Drury from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Cole Tucker was dropped to make room. Drury missed 5 1/2 weeks with a strained left hamstring. He was hitting only .173/.230/.240 in 113 plate appearances before going down, and Angels manager Ron Washington said over the weekend that he’d be benched if he didn’t produce pretty quickly after coming off the IL. Expect him to get regular playing time for now between second base and DH. Rotoworld Today, 2:52 pm

  • Returns from injured list
The Angels activated Drury (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Drury wound up being sidelined for nearly six weeks of action with a left hamstring strain but is ready to roll after playing six rehab games. Most of Drury's starts with the Angels will probably come at second base, but first base, third base and designated hitter are options, as well. Rotowire.com Today, 2:47 pm

  • Getting day off versus lefty
Valdez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Valdez will get the night off while the Blue Jays bring southpaw Yusei Kikuchi to the bump. The freshly activated Romy Gonzalez (hamstring) will get the start at second base in place of Valdez. Rotowire.com Today, 2:42 pm

  • Sitting out Monday
McMahon is out of the lineup for Monday's contest against the Dodgers.

Advice: The lefty-hitting McMahon is getting just his third day off of the season with a left-hander (James Paxton) on the mound for the Dodgers. Alan Trejo will step in at third base in place of McMahon, who has started to heat back up over the past week with seven hits -- including two home runs -- in his last 20 at-bats.
