    Joey Meneses went 3-for-3 in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday.

    Advice: All three of Meneses’ hits were singles, but the 32-year-old is now 10-for-32 (.313) over his last eight games with a home run and three RBI. However, he was also on the bench on Monday against a right-handed pitcher with Lane Thomas back off the injured list, so it’s possible Menses is entering into a weak-side platoon situation that would destroy his fantasy value. It’s a massive relief for the Royals, and fantasy managers, as the 26-year-old first baseman appears to have avoided serious injury following a collision with Twins center fielder Byron Buxton during Tuesday’s contest in Minnesota.
