    • On base three times
Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Albies began his day with a double and later led off the fourth with a single before stealing second and coming around to score on a base hit from Matt Olson. Albies has notched a double in three straight games and now has four multi-hit efforts in July. The 27-year-old switch hitter heads into the break slashing .258/.312/.410 with eight homers, 44 RBI, 47 runs, eight steals and a 24:59 BB:K in 381 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 am

    • Logs fifth steal
Kwan went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Rays.

Advice: This was Kwan's first steal since June 25 and his fifth of the campaign on nine attempts. Given he missed a month with a hamstring issue, it's not a surprise he's been a bit more cautious on the basepaths. The outfielder is batting .283 in July and now has a .352/.407/.512 slash line with nine home runs, 27 RBI, 55 runs scored, 14 doubles and two triples through 308 plate appearances this year. • Fires six shutout innings
Pepiot (6-5) yielded two hits over six scoreless frames Sunday, striking out four and earning a win over the Guardians.

Advice: Pepiot gave up a pair of singles and plunked one batter but never faced much of a threat Sunday. He generated 12 swinging strikes, with six coming via the fastball. Pepiot has been fairly inconsistent in the first half of 2024 but owns a solid 3.92 ERA with a 94:31 K:BB through 17 appearances. Over his last four outings, he's registered a 1.71 ERA but has turned in just one quality start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 pm

    • Struggles with command
Lodolo yielded two runs on three hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during the loss to Miami.

Advice: Lodolo kept the Marlins off the board through four innings before Jonah Bride knocked a two-run single in the fifth. Lodolo has failed to complete five frames in three straight outings since his win in Pittsburgh on June 18. During that three-start span, he's produced a lackluster 11:9 K:BB over 13 innings. Lodolo finishes his first half with a strong 3.33 ERA and 81:24 K:BB through 78.1 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Ozzie Albies reaches base three times in victory
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and a run scored on Sunday as the Braves triumphed over the Padres to wrap up the first half of the season.

Advice: Albies smacked a one-out double off of Randy Vasquez in the opening inning but wound up getting stranded at third base. He then led off the fourth inning with a single, swiped second base and raced around to score the Braves’ first run on an RBI single off the bat of Matt Olson. The 27-year-old second baseman finishes the first half hitting .258/.312/.410 with eight homers, 44 RBI and eight stolen bases (in nine attempts). Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:50 pm

    • Lodolo struggles with command against Miami
Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings while walking four in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Lodolo got ahead of hitters often, starting 15 of the 19 batters he faced with a first-pitch strike; however, he struggled to put people away. He did strike out four on the day, but he also had just a 49 percent zone rate overall and had a hard time locating anything other than his fastball. He’ll carry a 3.33 ERA into a start against the Nationals on Sunday after the All-Star break. If he can recapture his command, he should have a solid second half of the season. • Bichette (calf) sits out first half finale Sunday
Bo Bichette (calf) was held out of the Blue Jays’ starting lineup for Sunday’s first half finale against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: While the 26-year-old shortstop showed improvement over the weekend, the Jays’ thought it made more sense to keep him out of action and give him the extended rest with the All-Star break coming up. Once again, Leo Jimenez will start in his place at shortstop and he’ll bat seventh against Zac Gallen and the Diamondbacks on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:12 pm

    • Out for fourth straight game
Bichette (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Bichette will miss his fourth contest in a row due to a right calf strain, but the Blue Jays' decision not to place him on the injured list offers hope that he'll be ready to go coming out of the All-Star break. Leo Jimenez will once again fill in at shortstop in place of Bichette, who will turn his sights toward a return to the lineup next Friday versus the Tigers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:06 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot stellar in win over Guardians
Ryan Pepiot threw six shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out four in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Pepiot didn’t walk a batter and has now strung together two good performances after a poor start against the Royals at the beginning of the month. The right-hander induced 12 whiffs on 45 swings for a 27 percent whiff rate and 26 percent CSW on the day. He’ll carry a 3.92 ERA into the second half of the season and is one of the top candidates to have a much better second half of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:59 pm
