    • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
      Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

      Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game.       Lane Thomas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Marlins on Sunday.



      Advice: It’s Thomas’ third consecutive game with a home run. He now has seven total on the year. Thomas has been hot over his last 10 games going 10-for-37 (.351) to bring his season average to .238. He stole 11 bases in 22 games in April, but has just five steals in 20 games since.

    • IL bound with arm injury
      The Dodgers placed Yamamoto (triceps) on the 15-day injured list Sunday.

      Advice: Yamamoto struck out a batter over two scoreless innings before he was lifted from his start in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Royals after he had experienced tightness in his right tricep while warming up prior to the game. Roberts hinted after the game that Yamamoto was likely to land on the IL, and the Dodgers have made the move official prior to Sunday's series finale. According to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Roberts suggested that Yamamoto will be sent in for further testing Sunday before an official diagnosis for the injury and a timeline for his return is provided.       Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Turner (hamstring) will be reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Turner has been on the shelf since May 4 with a left hamstring strain, but he'll rejoin the big club without requiring a minor-league rehab assignment beforehand after the Phillies came away from his recent workouts convinced enough that he's at or near full health. Once he's formally activated from the IL ahead of Monday's game against the Padres, Turner should settle back in as the Phillies' everyday shortstop, pushing Edmundo Sosa back into a utility role. Sosa performed well during Turner's extended absence, and Thomson recently floated the possibility of Sosa seeing some looks in the outfield once Turner is back in the fold.       Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters before Sunday’s game that Trea Turner (hamstring) will be activated off the injured list before Monday’s game against the Padres.

      Advice: There was some talk that Turner could be back Sunday, but Philadelphia will get the 30-year-old one more day before he’s back in action. The star shortstop’s return is a big boost for both fantasy managers and the Phillies.     • Two doubles, stolen base in win
      McMahon went 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Pirates.

      Advice: McMahon doubled in his third trip to the plate and advanced to third on a sacrifice fly before then stealing home to increase Colorado's lead to five runs. The third baseman would add an RBI double in the eighth, giving him his sixth multi-base hit over his last four games.     • Fans six in win
      Fedde (5-1) picked up the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing two runs on eight hits over six innings while striking out six.

      Advice: Fedde got himself into trouble early and often, surrendering leadoff hits in four of his six innings of work. However, the right-hander was able to limit the damage to just two runs, one of which came across in the opening frame. He threw only 12 first-pitch strikes (out of 26) but still managed to hang on for his first win since May 14 against the Nationals. Fedde has now logged quality starts in back-to-back outings and in three of his last five starts overall. He also carries an impressive 17:1 K:BB through three June starts.     • Erick Fedde hurls six strong in victory over ARI
      Erick Fedde went six innings while allowing two runs to get a win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

      Advice: Fedde did allow eight hits, but he didn’t put anyone on via walk while striking out six. The right-hander gave up runs in the first and fifth inning and he was able to avoid the big inning for another strong outing for the 31-year-old. The White Sox have been a disaster, but Fedde has been an absolute bright spot with a 3.09 ERA through 87 1/3 innings. He’s scheduled to take on the Tigers on Friday.       Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that there is a "high probability" Yamamoto (triceps) will be placed on the 15-day injured list, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

      Advice: The rookie right-hander indicated he didn't think the injury was anything serious after being pulled from Saturday's start. While Yamamoto will undergo further evaluations Sunday before an official move is made, it seems likely that the triceps tightness will require Yamamoto to miss a few starts, even if an IL move is mostly precautionary.
