• Ryan Bliss collects first MLB homer in loss to KC
Ryan Bliss hit a two-run homer in a loss to the Royals on Friday.

Advice: Bliss absolutely clobbered a Daniel Lynch IV offering to left field in the first inning to give Seattle a 7-0 lead and Bliss his first ever MLB homer. The 24-year-old has hit just .188 thus far in the majors, but his .350 on-base percentage does show that he has been more than willing to reach via walk. There is some potential long-term fantasy upside in his right-handed bat. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:09 pm

  • Logs steal in three-hit game
Tatis went 3-for-5 with a double, one stolen base and one run scored in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Tatis has racked up nine hits over his last three games and is batting .449 (22-for-49) during his 12-game hitting streak. In addition to the hot bat, Tatis took advantage of getting on base Thursday by picking up his first steal since May 7. The outfielder is up to a .283/.356/.450 slash line with seven thefts, 10 home runs, 32 RBI and 41 runs scored through 66 contests this season, and he's been one of baseball's hottest hitters so far in June. • Zach DeLoach picks up first career hit in blowout
Zach DeLoach hit an RBI double on Thursday in the White Sox’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Red Sox.

Advice: DeLoach picked up his first career hit and RBI with a sixth-inning double off Red Sox starter Tanner Houck. The 25-year-old outfielder had been 0-for-5 in three games this season in the majors. He figures to continue playing regularly for the rebuilding White Sox, who set a franchise record on Thursday evening with their 14th consecutive loss. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:53 pm

  • Victor Robles is starting in Mariners debut
Victor Robles is starting for the Mariners in left field on Thursday and batting eighth.

Advice: Robles was signed on Monday and will immediately get a chance to prove himself to his new club. The 27-year-old had just 33 plate appearances for the Nationals this season, slashing .120/.281/.120 with two RBI, four stolen bases, and a 9/5 K/BB ratio and posted a .222/.301/.308 triple-slash line with 11 homers and 39 steals in 1,124 plate appearances over 341 games since the outset of the pandemic-shortened 2020 season. Still, he had been one of the top prospects in baseball prior to his MLB debut and there is likely still some talent in there that perhaps the Mariners can get out of him. He shouldn’t be added in fantasy leagues yet, but his progress should be monitored. Rotoworld Thursday, 11:42 am
  • Regaining playing time
Haniger will start in right field and bat sixth in Thursday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Haniger appeared to have fallen into a short-side platoon role shortly after Dominic Canzone returned from the injured list in mid-May, but the 33-year-old Haniger has now picked up 10 starts in 11 games. Six of those starts have come against right-handed pitchers, and though Canzone and Luke Raley still appear to be the Mariners' preferred corner outfielders against righties, Haniger may have overtaken Mitch Garver on the depth chart at designated hitter. The Mariners will have room for both players in the lineup Thursday against lefty JP Sears, but Haniger is carrying an eight-game hitting streak into the contest, while Garver has gone just 2-for-19 over that same stretch of action. • Stays hot with four hits
Tatis went 4-for-4 with one RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Tatis was responsible for half of the Padres' hits and run production in the low-scoring game. The 25-year-old is on a heater with an 11-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .432 (19-for-44) with four extra-base hits. He's added 33 points to his batting average during the streak, and he's now at a .795 OPS with 10 home runs, six stolen bases, 32 RBI and 40 runs scored over 65 contests this season. • Fernando Tatis Jr. collects four hits in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. with 4-for-4 with an RBI against the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. was perfect at the plate on Wednesday, reaching base in all four plate appearances. He knocked a base hit in the first and fourth innings before driving in a run on a single in the sixth. He’d knock one more base hit in the eighth to make it 4-for-4. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting a solid .277/.352/.443 with 10 homers, 40 runs scored, 32 RBI, and six steals across 284 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:14 pm
  • Jorge Polanco won’t return when eligible
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) will not return from the injured list when first eligible on Thursday.

Advice: The 30-year-old second baseman has been making progress in his recovery from a mild right hamstring strain, but he’s not close to a return just yet. He has been participating in infield drills and has been taking batting practice, but it sounds like he may ultimately need a game or two on a minor league rehab assignment before he’s ready to rejoin the M’s lineup. • Pops fifth homer
Renfroe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Renfroe has quietly started to turn things around, going 13-for-49 (.265) with two homers, five doubles and eight RBI over his last 15 contests. That's a vast improvement over the first quarter-plus of the season, though he's still at an ugly .179/.256/.327 slash line through 172 plate appearances. Renfroe has added five homers, 21 RBI, 21 runs scored, one stolen base and eight doubles over 51 contests. He sat out both games over the weekend with Nelson Velazquez and Adam Frazier each getting a turn in right field, but Renfroe remains the Royals' primary right fielder.
