Last year, Dalbec played first base, second base, third base and shortstop for Boston. He was in right field for the Red Sox on Saturday afternoon with Tyler O’Neill out. Dalbec’s hitting .159 in 28 games this year, though he’s reached base safely in eight of his last nine starts.
