    Advice: It was the 18th multi-hit game of the season for Westburg, whose 11th homer came with two on in the fifth and represented the fourth long ball of the day allowed by Phillies starter Zack Wheeler. The 25-year-old is experiencing a breakout in his second big-league season, posting an impressive slash line of .278/.332/.504 with 11 home runs, 42 RBI, 37 runs and six steals over 268 plate appearances.     Advice: Wisely doubled in the third inning before knocking a two-run double during the Giants' nine-run fourth. He's produced three multi-hit performances over his last five games and four over his last nine appearances. During that nine-game stretch, he's gone 9-for-31 (.290) with five extra-base hits.   • Primed for everyday shortstop role
    Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals that Rojas is expected to see the majority of the starts at shortstop while Mookie Betts is out with a fractured left hand, ESPN.com reports.

    Advice: Betts suffered the injury in the seventh inning of Sunday's game, when he was hit by a 97.9 mile-per-hour fastball. Fortunately for Betts, the injury is to his non-dominant hand, and Roberts said that surgery won't be necessary, but the seven-time All-Star is still likely headed for a multi-week absence. With 760 career MLB starts at shortstop under his belt, Rojas gives the Dodgers a battle-tested option at the position who's a dependable defender, but the 35-year-old doesn't profile as a high-end fantasy contributor. He's been a solid performer when called upon this season -- usually as a fill-in starter against left-handed pitching -- hitting .278 with three home runs and three stolen bases across 116 plate appearances.     Brett Wisely doubled twice and knocked in three runs from the leadoff spot Sunday versus the Angels.

    Advice: Wisely has been one of the Giants’ best players when in the lineup, though oddly enough, he’s been much more successful in very limited action in lefty-lefty matchups (1.501 OPS in 16 PA) than versus righties (.592 OPS in 53 PA). Of course, he’s only really playing against righties. His .807 OPS overall demands that he remain in the lineup most of the time for now, whether it’s at the expense of Nick Ahmed or Thairo Estrada.     Jose Altuve blasted a three-run homer in the second inning on Sunday, powering the Astros to a 4-1 victory over the Tigers in their series finale in Houston.

    Advice: The Astros scratched out a run in the opening inning as Altuve singled, took second on a wild pitch and raced around to score on a single off the bat of Yordan Alvarez. He then clobbered a game-changing 402-foot (101.9 mph EV) three-run shot off of Kenta Maeda with two outs in the second inning that proved to be the difference in the ballgame. Altuve finished the afternoon 2-for-3 plus a walk and a stolen base and is now slashing a healthy .299/.350/.460 on the season to go along with 11 homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season.   • Andy Ibanez smacks RBI double in loss to Astros
    Andy Ibanez smacked a pinch-hit RBI double in the ninth inning on Sunday, accounting for the Tigers’ lone run in a loss to the Astros.

    Advice: Ibanez did what he does best — mash left-handed pitching — crushing an RBI double off of Josh Hader that plated Mark Canha from first base with the Tigers’ first run in the ballgame.     Rengifo suffered a left wrist contusion in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Giants, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored prior to his departure.

    Advice: Rengifo took a line drive single from Matt Chapman off his left arm in the bottom of the fourth inning while playing third base, exiting the contest thereafter. The 27-year-old underwent X-rays, which showed just a contusion, and he said that he expects to play Monday against the Brewers. Rengifo can be considered day-to-day for the time being.     Luis Rengifo (wrist) told reporters after Sunday’s game that he expects to play on Monday.

    Advice: Rengifo was pulled from Sunday’s game after being drilled in the wrist by a ball off the bat of Matt Chapman. He did undergo precautionary X-rays that ruled out any fractures though and was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion.
