Trevor Rogers allows three earned runs in loss
Trevor Rogers allowed three earned runs over 5 2/3 innings while striking out four in the Marlins’ loss to the Braves on Tuesday.
Advice: While the Braves plated five runs with Rogers on the mound, two of those runs were unearned. Still, the veteran lefty was touched up for a two-run homer in the sixth inning and allowed eight baserunners on the day. Now sporting an 0-3 record, a 4.10 ERA, and a 1.52 WHIP, Rogers will hope to earn his first win of the season in his next outing, which comes on Monday against the Nationals.
