Heaney (2-7) took the loss Saturday against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: All three of the runs charged to Heaney came off the bat of Heliot Ramos -- the outfielder opened the scoring with a double in the first inning before adding a two-run homer in the third. The 33-year-old Heaney had earned wins in his previous two appearances (one in relief), delivering 8.1 scoreless innings in that span. Overall, he sports a 4.06 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP and 58:15 K:BB across 62 innings this season. Heaney is currently lined up for a road start next week in Seattle, though he could find himself back in the bullpen with Jon Gray returning from the IL. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago
    • Rafael Devers leaves game with sore knee Saturday
Rafael Devers was removed from Saturday’s battle against the White Sox due to soreness in his knee.

Advice: Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after the game that, “His knee is bothering him.... hopefully it’s nothing worse than a little bit of soreness.” While it doesn’t sound like anything serious, it’s certainly a situation that fantasy managers need to be monitoring over the next couple of days. If relying on him for next week, it’d be wise to have a contingency option in place in the event that Devers winds up missing a few games. Rotoworld 10 minutes ago
    • To hit injured list
Rodgers (left hamstring strain) will be placed on the 10-day injured list, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rodgers was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals after his hamstring tightened up while running out a hit. Further evaluation revealed that the second baseman has a strain in his left hamstring and will need an IL stint. Infielder Adael Amador will be called up from Double-A Hartford to fill Rodgers' spot on the active roster and should share second base duties with Alan Trejo. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago
    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago
    • Gibson allows three in no-decision Saturday
Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Gibson gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out seven. He was in line for the win before the Rockies scored three runs against the Cardinals bullpen in the seventh inning. The Cardinals bullpen also cost him a win in his last start. Gibson has been consistently good lately as he’s allowed more than three runs in only one of his last 10 starts. The 36-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs on the road next week.

    • Blasts solo home run
Garver went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: The designated hitter took Alec Marsh deep in the fifth inning to tie up the score. It was Garver's seventh homer of the season and his second in his last three games. Garver has struggled to the tune of a .180/.292/.348 line thus far, but he may be starting to turn it around with eight RBI and four extra-base hits over his last six games. • Goes 4.2 innings again vs. Texas
Howard didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Howard ran into some trouble in the first inning, walking the first two batters he faced before ultimately allowing a run on a sacrifice fly. While he'd hold the Rangers scoreless over his final 3.2 frames, Howard would wind up an out shy of qualifying for the win. The 27-year-old right-hander has yet to make it through five innings through his first three outings with the Giants this year, though he's allowed just three earned runs over 13.1 frames. Howard figures to remain in the rotation until Blake Snell (groin) is ready to return. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Angels in his next start. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago
    • Diaz has two-hit game Saturday
Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Rays as they were shutout. Diaz had the only two hits for Tampa Bay. After wining the batting title in the American League last year, he’s hitting just .245 so far this season. Diaz’ .273 BABIP this year is well below his .320 career BABIP. That doesn’t explain his lack of power this year as his .105 ISO is way down from his .192 ISO last season. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago
    • Christian Yelich plates two runs to lead Brewers
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Saturday afternoon, propelling the Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Casey Mize that plated Brice Turang in the first inning. He then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yelich also reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .333/.414/.532 with six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been an impressive all-around season.
