Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals' starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:29 pm

    • Ryan O’Hearn goes 3-for-4, knocks in run
Starting against a lefty for the first time all season, Ryan O’Hearn went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: We’re still not sure why O’Hearn played and Ryan Mountcastle sat tonight, but O’Hearn came through nicely, picking up all three of his hits against lefties. He had been 2-for-15 versus southpaws this season. Rotoworld Today, 7:15 pm

    • Slugs 10th homer
Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional RBI in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Vaughn did all he could in this one, tying the game in the seventh inning with an RBI walk before knotting the game up in the 10th inning with a sacrifice fly. The 26-year-old quietly had an impressive month of June, batting .337 with six home runs, 20 RBI and 17 runs scored in 25 games played. Rotowire.com Today, 3:12 pm

    • Vaughn belts 10th home run, drives in three Sunday
Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and three RBI against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Vaughn’s home run was his 10th of the year. He hit a solo shot off Kyle Freeland in the fourth inning to bring the White Sox within a run, walked with the bases loaded in the seventh inning to tie the game and hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning to tie the game. Vaughn is 34-for-106 (.320) with six home runs and 20 RBI over his last 27 games. He’s hitting .244 with a .693 OPS and 39 RBI on the season.

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Heim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Heim has a .163/.265/.233 slash line in his past 13 games and will sit for Sunday's series finale. Andrew Knizner will take over behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:59 pm

    • Josh Winckowski goes five scoreless for victory
Josh Winckowski blanked the Padres for five innings to pick a victory in his start Sunday.

Advice: It’s his first win in nine starts dating back to Aug. 5, 2022. Winckowski generated quite a bit of soft contact today, which was important since he had just three missed swings and one strikeout. Interestingly, all three missed swings came on the slider that he threw just seven times in the 58-pitch outing. Winckowski should stay in the rotation for now, but he has a very tough matchup coming up against the Yankees in New York. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

    • Spins five shutout innings
Winckowski (2-1) picked up the win Sunday versus the Padres. He did not allow a run in five innings, gave up four hits and struck out one.

Advice: Winckowski was efficient in his spot start, as he needed only 58 pitches to get through five innings. It was Winckowski's fourth start of the season and his first since early May. The 26-year-old pitched six innings of relief in his previous appearance and followed up Sunday with another quality showing. He lowered his ERA to 2.80 and is projected to face the Yankees next should he receive another turn in the rotation. Rotowire.com Today, 1:25 pm

    • Earns third save
Chapman gave up a run on two hits in the ninth inning but still managed to pick up his third save Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Chapman came in with a three-run lead in the ninth and worked in and out of trouble to grab his second save in his last four appearances. The veteran has taken over the Pirates' ninth-inning role since losing closer David Bednar to an oblique injury June 19th. There is still no timetable for Bednar's return, so Chapman is likely looking at a few more save opportunities in the meantime. Rotowire.com Today, 12:23 pm
