    • Josh Smith homers in win
Josh Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Smith took Sam Long deep 383 feet at 102.2 mph for his seventh home run on the season. The 26-year-old has been brilliant filling in for Josh Jung, hitting .303/.391/.478 on the year. Considering his ability to play all over the field, he should be able to fight for consistent playing time even when Jung returns. Provided he keeps hitting like this. Rotoworld Jun 23, 3:01 pm
    • Bregman has four hits, two 2Bs in win
Alex Bregman went 4-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in an 8-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Bregman had two doubles and two singles on the day but also came away with zero RBI. Still, the consistent contact is nice to see, and the veteran is now 28-for-77 in 19 games in June for a .364 batting average. That’ll most certainly play considering he’s on pace for yet another 20-plus home run season. Rotoworld Jun 23, 2:51 pm

    • Back at third base for now
Smith started at third base and went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Smith made a second consecutive start in the field after serving as a designated hitter for a pair of games. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss four games before returning as the DH. Now that he's back in the field, the question becomes how long he will be there. Third baseman Josh Jung (wrist) rejoined the team Friday and will take live batting practice Tuesday. If all goes well, Jung could be activated off the 60-day injured list afterward. The Rangers would like to keep Smith's bat in the lineup; he's batting .304/.393/.469 over a career-high 259 plate appearances. The lefty hitter could serve as the primary DH; he owns an .857 OPS against lefties and an .863 OPS against righties this season. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 4:36 am
    • Smith belts sixth home run in win Saturday
Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup. Given Texas’ other options, they’ll continue to find playing time for him as long as he’s producing like this. Rotoworld Jun 22, 3:46 pm
    • Stays hot Friday
Riley went 2-for-4 with two walks, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The 27-year-old slugger has flipped the switch in June. Riley has at least one extra-base hit in six of his last seven games, batting a blistering .545 (12-for-22) over that stretch with four doubles, four homers, nine runs and nine RBI. After a rough, injury-plagued start to the season, the power surge has pushed his slash line up to .251/.324/.420. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 6:29 am
    • Austin Riley stays hot with another homer
Austin Riley went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, and two walks on Friday against the Yankees.

Advice: Riley’s OPS has climbed from .618 to .744 in exactly one week. That is truly remarkable. It already feels like his putrid April and May will be a distant memory soon. If there was any question, the buy-low window on Riley has slammed shut. Rotoworld Jun 21, 7:27 pm
