Springs (elbow) completed four shutout innings while striking out six and allowing three hits in a rehab outing with Triple-A Durham on Wednesday.

Advice: This marked Springs' longest rehab outing, and he ramped up to 62 pitches -- 47 of which went for strikes. This was his fifth outing with Durham, and Springs remains on track to return to the Rays' rotation sometime after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 10:08 pm
    • Steals home in loss
Chapman went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Tyler Fitzgerald stole second, and that gave Chapman enough time to dart home for the Giants' third run. Chapman has done it all over his last 15 games, batting .327 (18-for-55) with four home runs, three steals, 12 RBI and 14 runs scored in that span. Coming into 2024, he had stolen a total of 11 bases in his career, but he's already up to eight this season while adding 12 homers, 42 RBI, 58 runs scored and a .244/.328/.422 slash line through 87 games. • Collects save Saturday
Clase walked one and struck out none over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Clase has earned six saves and a win during his active nine-inning scoreless streak. He's added a 5:2 K:BB in that span. The closer is 26-for-29 in save chances this year with a 0.65 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 39:5 K:BB across 41.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 8:47 pm
    • Trea Turner plates lone run in loss to Braves
Trea Turner went 1-for-4 and drove in the Phillies’ lone run in Saturday night’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: Turner got the Phillies on the board with a run-scoring single off of Spencer Schwellenbach in the third inning that plated Johan Rojas. That would be all of the offense that they could muster in the contest. The 31-year-old shortstop has been terrific when he has been on the field this season, hitting .340/.383/.505 with seven homers, 23 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 50 games. • Crushed early in loss
Brown (6-6) took the loss against the Twins on Saturday, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Brown entered Saturday on an impressive run of eight consecutive quality starts, but the Twins jumped him early for seven runs over the first three innings. He battled to finish with three scoreless frames but ultimately endured his worst outing since allowing six earned runs against Cleveland on April 30. The 25-year-old owns a 4.48 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB over 92.1 innings this season and will try to rebound against the Rangers next week. Rotowire.com Today, 5:49 pm
    • Homers three times in win
Rice went 3-for-5 with three home runs and seven RBI in a 14-4 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Rice opened the scoring with a leadoff home run in the first inning and added three-run blasts in the fifth and seventh. According to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com, he is the first rookie in Yankees history with a three-homer game. The 25-year-old is hitting .294 with four home runs and 12 RBI through his first 60 major-league plate appearances while earning opportunities to hit atop one of the league's best lineups. • Follow-up MRI returns clean
Rodriguez's (shoulder) MRI came back clean Saturday, and he's expected to throw a bullpen session soon, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Saturday's follow-up MRI confirmed that Rodriguez's shoulder has fully healed and marked the southpaw's final checkpoint to clear before beginning mound work. The 31-year-old hasn't pitched in 2024 and will require a lengthy ramp-up period that includes a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. Still, Rodriguez could be back in late July or early August. Rotowire.com Today, 4:45 pm
    • Eduardo Rodriguez to ramp up throwing progression
Eduardo Rodriguez (lat) will ramp up his throwing progression after receiving good news from his follow-up MRI on Saturday.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler has yet to debut for the Diamondbacks due to a lat injury that has shelved him since spring training. He’ll resume throwing off of flat ground once again and stretch out from there. He’s still a long way away from potentially joining the Diamondbacks’ rotation — especially with all of the setbacks that he has experienced thus far. Rotoworld Today, 4:35 pm
    • Ketel Marte (back) held out of lineup on Saturday
Ketel Marte (back) was held out of the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup for Saturday evening’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday’s game due to tightness in his back. The Diamondbacks are hopeful that it’s only a minor issue and won’t require a lengthy absence. He’s expected to be available off the bench on Saturday night and could return to the Diamondbacks’ lineup for Sunday’s series finale. Rotoworld Today, 4:32 pm
