The Tigers might give him another opportunity soon, but there’s a good argument that Parker Meadows, who has hit .285/.378/.519 since his demotion, is more deserving at this point. The sixth spot in the batting order represents the lowest that Arenado has slotted in his four seasons with the Cardinals.       Reds recalled RHP Graham Ashcraft from Triple-A Louisville.

The Reds weren’t wanting to bring him back quite this soon, but Nick Lodolo’s blister created a need.
