While he didn't surrender a home run, the Rangers did tag Marsh for three doubles. All three runs against Marsh came in the fourth inning, when he allowed three straight hits to open the frame before yielding a two-out, two-RBI single to Leody Taveras. After posting a 4-2 record and a 3.24 ERA across his first nine starts, Marsh has put up a 6.66 ERA with a 1-3 record in June.       Advice: Assad has failed to complete five innings in four of his last nine starts. The Mets did most of their damage in the third inning, as Francisco Lindor and Brandon Nimmo hit back-to-back home runs to account for three of the four runs on Assad's line.       Javier Assad wasn’t at his best in Sunday’s loss to the Mets, surrendering four runs on seven hits across his 4 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: Assad walked one batter on the evening and did not record a single strikeout. Most of the damage done against him came via the long ball, as Francisco Lindor crushed a two-run homer in the third inning and Brandon Nimmo followed with a solo shot.       Advice: Marsh held the Rangers scoreless through the first three innings, but he allowed three runs on three hits in the fourth inning and then got chased from the game in the middle of the sixth inning after allowing two straight hits; although none of the runners came around to score. Since his great start against the Yankees, where he modified his pitch mix specifically for New York’s hitters, Marsh has allowed 10 runs in nine combined innings in his last two starts.       Jordan Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

      Advice: Just like on Saturday, Westburg homered but the Orioles offense couldn’t do much else. Westburg now has 13 home runs and 45 RBI so far on the season; however, he did also strike out twice on Sunday and his batting average is down to .277 on the season. Westburg swings often so it doesn’t always matter that he swings and misses a lot, but he will have stretches where those whiffs drag the batting average down a bit.
