    • Schwarber has three hits, three RBI in loss
Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and three RBI against the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Schwarber cleared the bases with a three-run double to pull the Phillies within a run in the second inning. However, those would be the only runs Philadelphia would score on the night. Schwarber is up to .249 with 41 RBI on the season. His power is down as his .177 ISO this year is well below his career .259 ISO. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:29 pm
    • Davis Schneider posts two hits, homers in loss
Davis Schneider went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Schneider took Brewers starter Tobias Myers deep in the opening frame to supply Toronto’s lone run of the contest until he helped spark a furious ninth-inning rally that came up just short. It was the first time he’s gone deep since May 31. He’s given up some leadoff opportunities to rookie Spencer Horwitz over the last few days, but appears likely to continue batting near the top of the Blue Jays’ lineup. • Goes yard twice in win
Schwarber went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: The veteran slugger led off the game with a deep blast to right field off Kutter Crawford, then did it again to lead off the fifth. Schwarber's June exploits have become legendary -- per Paul Casella of MLB.com, he's averaging one homer every 10.4 at-bats in his career during the month, the best pace in MLB history ahead of Babe Ruth's 10.6. Schwarber's current groove extends back to late May, and over his last 12 games he's slashing .277/.382/.532 with four long balls and seven RBI. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:16 am
    • Logs steal in loss
Steer went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Steer recorded his 12th steal in 65 games, putting him on pace to surpass the 15 he had over 156 games in 2023. Speed was not a hallmark to his game in the minors, but the running Reds have changed that. On an unrelated note, the team received news that first baseman Christian Encarnacion-Strand is mulling season-ending wrist surgery. That means Steer, who has been the primary fill-in for Encarnacion-Strand in recent weeks, may continue on as Cincinnati's regular at first base. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:54 am

    • Kyle Schwarber has two home runs in win
Kyle Schwarber went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: He hit both of them off Kutter Crawford, including one on the first pitch of the game, which was also his first time back in Fenway Park since playing for the Red Sox. Neither big fly was in any doubt with both of them being hit over 425 feet at at 110 mph or harder off the bat. The 31-year-old now has 13 home runs and 38 RBI on the season to go along with a solid .240 average. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:06 pm
    • Absent from lineup
Schneider is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee.

Advice: It marks two games out of the last three that Schneider's name has been missing from the lineup card. Daulton Varsho will be in left field for the Blue Jays while Spencer Horwitz handles second base and hits leadoff. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:35 pm

    • Taking seat Sunday
Schneider is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Schneider started the previous 14 games but will sit Sunday amid a 3-for-23 slump. Spencer Horwitz will step in at second base and bat leadoff in the series finale at Oakland. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:19 am

    • Davis Schneider getting Sunday off vs. Athletics
Davis Schneider is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: Schneider gets a day of rest against Mitch Spence and the Oakland staff. In his place, Spencer Horwitz will not only get the start at second base, but hit at the top of the Toronto lineup. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:15 am

    • Another pair of steals
Doyle went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases Saturday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Doyle notably hit second in the lineup for the first time since May 4, as Ezequiel Tovar shifted to third as the Rockies deal with several injuries to regular starters. Doyle delivered a strong line, highlighted by a pair of steals to bring his total on the season to 17. He also has two steals in two of his last three starts. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:03 pm
