    • Activated from 60-day IL
The Brewers activated Mitchell (finger) from the 60-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Mitchell will be making his season debut once he gets into a game after missing the first three months of the season with a fractured finger. He slashed .318/.404/.636 with four home runs and four stolen bases over 12 rehab games with Triple-A Nashville. The 25-year-old will join a crowded Milwaukee outfield that already features Christian Yelich, Blake Perkins, Sal Frelick and Jackson Chourio. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Throwing from 120 feet
Kelly (shoulder) recently increased his throwing distance off flat ground to 120 feet, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Though Kelly is steadily upping his throwing distance, the Diamondbacks haven't yet indicated when the right-hander might be ready to resume mound work. In any case, Kelly recently acknowledged that he's not expecting to come off the 60-day injured list until mid-to-late August, so he still has several weeks to go and multiple checkpoints to hit in his rehab program before a more precise target date for his return is identified. • Davis Schneider is starting in LF on Monday
Davis Schneider is starting in left field for the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Despite Schneider not being a full-time player, this will be his fourth start in the team’s last six games. However, he is coming off a rough month of June in which he hit .163/.227/.300 in 26 games with a 28.4 percent strikeout rate to go along with three home runs. He no longer needs to be held on fantasy rosters outside of the deepest formats. Rotoworld Today, 8:37 am

    • Blake: Rodón working to adjust gameplan
Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake said Carlos Rodón is working to adjust his approach as team’s key on hitting his fastball.

Advice: Speaking to The Athletic, Matt Blake said he doesn’t have long-term concerns with Rodón despite the left-hander allowing 20 earned runs and a 1.253 OPS in his last three outings. “I think it’s being ready to adapt your plan early because it’s clear that teams that can hit the fastball are targeting him early,” Blake said. “There are more guys like him who throw the ball hard with good profiles and... there’s just less room for error with that stuff. Even if that’s how you got paid, that’s not necessarily your map for success down the road. The more we can adjust and adapt to the league and the sooner we can do that, the easier it is...You’re not asking him to be crafty, but you’ve got to have a better rhythm than that.” Rotoworld Today, 8:25 am
    • Scores twice Sunday
Bregman went 1-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Bregman led off the fourth inning with a double and came around to score, accounting for most of his production. Though his season-long numbers remain fairly unimpressive, Bregman did have a productive June by hitting .310 with two homers, 11 RBI and 19 runs scored in 25 games. • Knocks three hits
Ramos went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Ramos knocked an RBI double and scored a run in the fourth inning before doubling and scoring again in the eighth. The 24-year-old outfielder has cooled off a bit in the second half of the month, going just 10-for-50 (.200) over his last 12 games. Still, he finishes June with 14 extra-base hits while hitting .304 (34-for-112) across 27 games. Ramos is now slashing .294/.368/.508 with 37 RBI and 20 extra-base hits through 48 games. • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. • Brewers activating Mitchell, demoting Black
The Brewers will activate Garrett Mitchell and send down Tyler Black prior to Monday’s game in Colorado.

Advice: It seemed like Black would get more of a look this time around, but after four games in which he collected three hits and three walks, the Brewers glued him to the bench for the entire last week. Now they’ll be creating a logjam in the outfield by activating Mitchell while keeping Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins around. Jackson Chourio has turned into a fixture in right, so the Brewers will be choosing between Mitchell, Frelick, Perkins and Jake Bauers for two lineup spots each day. That’s not a great fantasy value situation for Mitchell, though his upside is very much present. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:35 pm

    • Launches grand slam
Turang went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win against the Cubs.

Advice: Turang took Kyle Hendricks deep with the bases loaded to put the finishing touches on a seven-run fourth inning for the Brewers. The 24-year-old has now hit two grand slams over the past eight days, giving him a career-best 37 RBI on the campaign. The middle infielder has enjoyed an exceptional breakout season, batting .292 with six home runs, 37 RBI, 40 runs scored and 28 stolen bases in 80 games played. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:19 pm
