      Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Thursday.

      Advice: The save was his 16th of the season. Doval recorded two strikeouts and allowed one hit in the ninth inning. He has a 4.15 ERA on the season, but continues to be a reliable source of saves for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:00 pm
       
    • Shawn Dubin starting on Friday against Twins
      Shawn Dubin will start on Friday against the Twins.

      Advice: The Astros are running out of healthy starting pitching options at this point, so they’ll turn things over to Dubin and presumably let him go as long as possible during Friday’s series opener against the Twins. The 28-year-old righty holds a pedestrian 4.91 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 27/14 K/BB ratio across 25 2/3 innings (15 appearances, one start) this season.       Dubin will start Friday's game in Minnesota, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The 28-year-old threw 55 pitches over 3.1 innings in a start against the Mets over the weekend, but that was his first start in either the majors or minors this season. Though Dubin will be making a second straight turn through the rotation, he still could be hard pressed to reach the five innings he would need to qualify for a win.       Josh Hader allowed a hit but no runs while picking up a save Thursday against the Blue Jays.

      Advice: Hader gave up the hit, but worked around it while picking up his 14th save for the surging Astros. The left-hander needed just nine pitches to get through the inning, and six of those went for strikes.       Kimbrel picked up the save over the Mariners on Wednesday, pitching a perfect ninth inning while striking out two.

      Advice: Kimbrel entered the contest with a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth and fanned the first two batters he faced before getting Julio Rodriguez to pop out to first for the final out. The veteran reliever has converted each of his last five save attempts, posting a 9:3 K:BB over that stretch while not allowing any hits.       Finnegan earned a save against the Mets on Wednesday with a perfect inning of work.

      Advice: Finnegan protected a two-run, ninth-inning lead by retiring the side in order on 11 pitches. The right-hander has converted 10 of his past 11 save chances and has allowed just four runs over 17.1 innings during that span. Finnegan has been one of MLB's best closers this season, ranking third in the league with 23 saves while posting a 1.98 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 39:12 K:BB over 36.1 frames.       Craig Kimbrel struck out two batters in a scoreless inning to earn the save against the Mariners on Wednesday.

      Advice: Kimbrel was summoned to close out the game with a three-run lead in the ninth. He made quick work of the Mariners, striking out two batters in a perfect inning on 18 pitches.       Kyle Finnegan worked a clean ninth inning on Wednesday to earn the save against the Mets.
