      Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to rejoin the Rays’ rotation this week, perhaps on Wednesday against the Marlins in Miami.       Advice: Marte got the scoring going in the top of the first with a leadoff homer against Jose Quintana. He saved his best for last though, launching a decisive two-run shot in the ninth to propel Arizona to a 5-4 victory. The multi-HR performance was Marte's first of the season and the seventh of his career.     • Blake Snell (groin) expected to land on 15-day IL
      Giants’ manager Bob Melvin told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Yankees that Blake Snell is expected to land on the 15-day injured list after re-injuring his groin.

      Advice: Melvin noted that Snell will undergo an MRI exam on Monday to determine the extent of the damage, but it sounds like he’s going to be shelved for a while. Snell dealt with a similar injury near the end of April and wound up missing a month’s worth of action.       Senga (shoulder/triceps) took part in light-to-moderate throwing on the field Saturday, Pat Ragazzo of SI.com reports.

      Advice: Mets manager Carlos Mendoza characterized Senga's throwing as being mechanical in nature, but the activity nonetheless represents a step in the right direction after the Mets shut down the right-hander in late May, when he received a cortisone injection to address inflammation in his triceps. Senga initially opened the season on the injured list with a right posterior shoulder capsule strain before he experienced tightness in his triceps in May. Even though he's resumed his throwing program, Senga is without a clear timeline for a return. Given the multiple checkpoints he'll need to hit in his rehab prior to being activated from the 60-day IL, Senga looks unlikely to be activated until at least July.
