• Records 10th save
Hader allowed one hit in a scoreless inning while striking out one batter to earn a save against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: It was a relatively easy outing for Hader, who entered in the ninth with Houston ahead by three runs. The veteran closer allowed a one-out single but was never in serious trouble. Hader has converted all 10 of his save chances since blowing his first opportunity of the campaign April 2 versus Toronto. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:57 pm

  • Homers, stays hot in win
Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Kwan got things going early, walking and scoring a run in the first inning then hitting a two-run homer in the second. He later added a single in the sixth. Kwan continues to rake since his return from a hamstring injury May 31, extending his hitting streak to 13 games with eight multi-hit efforts in that span. On the season, he is hitting a ridiculous .397 with five home runs, 20 RBI and 41 runs scored in 205 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:50 pm

  • Josh Hader locks down 10th save Wednesday
Josh Hader tossed a scoreless ninth inning with one strikeout to record the save against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Hader was summoned to close out the game with a three-run lead in the ninth against the White Sox. He worked around a base hit, striking out one batter to end the game with his tenth save of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:43 pm

  • Steven Kwan with two more hits, goes yard
Steven Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, walk, and two runs scored on Wednesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Kwan continues what’s been an all-time start to the season. His batting average ticked back up to an unthinkable .397 and the homer was his fifth of the season. For the “batting average doesn’t matter” folks, Kwan’s OPS sits at 1.010 through nearly 45 games. Few in the league are hitting better than him right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:09 pm

  • Sitting Wednesday
Smith isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Smith will get a chance to clear his head Wednesday after going just 1-for-18 at the plate over his last five games. Austin Barnes will take over behind the dish while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:07 pm

  • Sitting versus lefty
Pederson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Nationals.

Advice: Pederson's only start against a lefty this season came earlier this month versus a left-handed opener in the Giants' Erik Miller. With the Nationals sending southpaw Patrick Corbin to the bump Wednesday, Pederson will take a seat while Eugenio Suarez serves as Arizona's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:53 am
  • Day off Wednesday
Cronenworth is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.

Advice: Cronenworth will get his first day off in more than a month as the Padres and Phillies conclude their series with a day game after a night game. Tyler Wade will fill in at second base while Cronenworth gets some rest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:18 am

  • Three hits in Tuesday's win
Pederson went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: All three knocks were singles, but it was still another busy night on the basepaths for Pederson, who also got hit by a pitch. The veteran slugger is batting .375 (12-for-32) over the last 10 games with two doubles, two homers, two steals, eight runs and 12 RBI as he takes advantage of a long stretch of right-handers being sent to the mound against the Diamondbacks. With Patrick Corbin and MacKenzie Gore set to start for Washington in the final two games of the series, however, Pederson figures to head to the bench despite his current form. • Returns to action
Heim went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Heim returned from a paternity leave Tuesday and was back in the lineup as the catcher. He's batting .235/.278/.341 with six home runs, 31 RBI, one steal and 22 runs scored over 241 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:37 am
