The injury to Diaz isn't projected to keep him out in the long term so Goodman may not have enough time to gain catcher eligibility, though he would become an intriguing option behind the dish if Diaz remains sidelined longer than anticipated.     Advice: This was the second game in a row Soler's hit leadoff, though the Giants may try any number of players there to replace Jung Hoo Lee (shoulder). Soler has gone 4-for-9 with a walk over two games since he came off the injured list. The 32-year-old is slashing .219/.308/.383 with five home runs, 10 RBI, 16 runs scored and six doubles over 146 plate appearances.     Jo Adell homered and walked twice in an extra-innings loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

    Advice: Adell took Jose Leclerc deep to give the Angels a 2-1 lead and Adell his eighth homer of the season. The 25-year-old has really impressed thus far in 2024, as the three-reach game now has his OPS up to .847 to go along with eight steals and 21 RBI over 108 at-bats.
