  • Chisholm Jr. homers, steals base Monday
    Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, a double, and a solo home run against the Padres on Monday.



    Advice: The home run was Chisholm Jr.’s eighth and the stolen base was his 10th. He’s 27-for-95 (.284) in the month of May and his average is up to .265 on the season with a .792 OPS.   • Collects three hits and a steal
    Young went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and one RBI in Monday's victory over Atlanta.

    Advice: Young managed to lace three singles and added his 12th RBI in the sixth inning. Most importantly to fantasy owners, the Washington center fielder swiped his 16th base, moving him into a tie for fourth-most in Major League Baseball. Overall, Young sports a .275/.329/.328 slash line in 146 plate appearances with 23 runs scored. He should continue to play full-time despite Lane Thomas (knee) returning Monday as the Nationals designated Victor Robles for assignment to open a roster spot for Thomas.   • Swipes eighth bag
    Rosario went 1-for-4 with a walk, a double and a stolen base in Monday's victory over Atlanta. He also had one RBI and two runs scored.

    Advice: Rosario continues his resurgent May, managing to steal his eighth base of the season in the third inning. The veteran outfielder entered the game slashing .258/.319/.576 with six homers, six steals, 15 RBI and 14 runs scored in 73 plate appearances this month.   • Paul Goldschmidt hits third homer in two days
    Paul Goldschmidt hit his third homer in two days to give the Cardinals their only run Monday against the Reds.

    Advice: Goldschmidt didn’t crush this one; technically, it wasn’t even a hard-hit ball at 94.3 mph. He hit it to the right spot, though. This little outburst has led to calls that Goldschmidt is back, but we want to see the K rate drop some before we buy into that.   • Smacks homer in win
    Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Monday's victory over the Cubs.

    Advice: Adames popped his first home run since May 7 when he crushed a 427-foot, three-run shot off Hayden Wesneski in the eighth inning. The Brewers shortstop hopes the homer turns his month around, as he entered the game slashing .213/.253/.404 over 99 plate appearances in May. Overall, Adames is hitting .249/.322/.440 with eight home runs, 27 runs scored and 35 RBI in 233 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:38 pm

  • LaMonte Wade Jr. likely to go IL due to hamstring
    LaMonte Wade Jr. has a strained left hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

    Advice: Expectations are that Wade will go on the injured list. That’ll probably make Wilmer Flores the Giants’ primary first baseman for at least a couple of weeks. Tyler Fitzgerald or David Villar are candidates to join the Giants in his place. Rotoworld Today, 5:20 pm

  • Charlie Blackmon homers, doubles twice in win
    Charlie Blackmon homered, doubled twice and drove in four runs to lead the Rockies to an 8-6 win over the Guardians.

    Advice: Definitely the best game of the year for Blackmon, who also made a fine sliding catch in foul territory down the right field line. The homer was his second in 173 plate appearances. He’s currently batting .237/.312/.378, which isn’t at all good for a Coors Field player lacking much in the way of defensive value.   • Tyler Freeman goes 3-for-5, doubles twice
    Tyler Freeman went 3-for-5 and doubled twice as the Guardians’ leadoff man Monday against the Rockies.

    Advice: Freeman won’t be spending much time in the leadoff spot after Steven Kwan comes off the IL, but he looks like a lineup fixture right now. His .228/.324/.370 line makes him a league-average hitter, which is kind of sad but also definite progress from the 25-year-old. Rotoworld Today, 5:15 pm

  • Bailey has two-hit game against the Phillies Monday
    Patrick Bailey went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI against the Phillies on Monday.



    Advice: Bailey continues his hot hitting. He’s now 10-for-25 (.400) with six runs and nine RBI over his last eight games. The catcher is up to .308 with a .846 OPS on the season. Bailey is well worth using in two-catcher formats at this point.
