      Advice: The lefty-hitting Arraez wasn't able to finish out Sunday's series finale following an awkward slide into second base, and the injury appears to be bothering him enough to keep him out of Monday's matchup. The Padres have yet to provide an update on Arraez's status, so he'll be considered day-to-day until more information comes to light.       Luis Arraez (shoulder) told reporters after Sunday’s game that he was fine and would be in the Padres’ lineup on Monday.

      Advice: The 27-year-old wizard with the bat suffered a shoulder injury while sliding into second base in the fifth inning on Sunday. It looks like it’s only a minor issue though and not something that is going to keep Arraez out of action.     • Freddie Freeman homers, swipes bag to lead Dodgers
      Freddie Freeman homered, swiped a base and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday, leading the Dodgers to a 4-0 victory over the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman was the second member of the Dodgers’ lineup to victimize Austin Gomber in the opening inning, clobbering a 396-foot (104.1 mph EV) solo shot just off of the outstretched glove of Brenton Doyle to increase the Dodgers’ early lead to 2-0. The 34-year-old superstar then led off the third inning with a walk, swiped second base and scored on an RBI knock by Miguel Rojas. Freeman also plated a run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning. For the season, he’s slashing .293/.399/.477 to go along with seven homers, 35 RBI and just two stolen bases.       Advice: Freeman went yard in the first inning and added a sacrifice fly in the eighth. The three walks he drew Sunday matched his total of free passes from his previous 13 games. Freeman's at a 13.4 percent walk rate on the year to go along with an equally impressive 16.0 percent strikeout rate. The first baseman has a .293/.399/.477 slash line with seven homers, 35 RBI, 35 runs scored, two steals, 16 doubles and two triples over 61 contests.       Luis Arraez was removed from Sunday afternoon’s game against the Royals due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: Arraez was thrown out at second base attempting to stretch a single into a double in the top half of the fifth inning. He remained in the game for another inning defensively, but was ultimately replaced by Tyler Wade when the Padres took the field in the sixth inning.       Arraez went 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored in Friday's victory over Kansas City.

      Advice: Arraez was ever himself, lacing four singles for his fourth four-hit night with San Diego since joining the team May 4. Overall, it is the 27-year-old's fifth four-hit game of the season, as he had one in Miami too. He also managed to collect his ninth and 10th RBI as a Padre with a two-run RBI knock in the eighth inning.       Luis Arraez finished 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored as the Padres topped the Royals 11-8 on Friday.

      Advice: The Padres had just two extra-base hits, both of which were doubles, and two walks tonight, but they collected 16 singles and went an incredible 11-for-18 with RISP.       Josh Naylor went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Rockies on Wednesday.

      Advice: Naylor brought a run in to score in the first inning with a groundout, then knocked a single in the third. He later doubled to lead off the sixth for his second hit of the day. The 26-year-old first baseman has slowed down considerably after a strong April. Still, eight of his 18 hits this month have left the yard.
