    • Alex Bregman (hand) leaves game after hit by pitch
Alex Bregman was removed from Sunday’s game against the Angels after being hit by a pitch on his left hand.

Advice: Bregman was plunked by a 93.4 mph sinker on the same hand that he was hit on earlier in the week. He did stay in the game to run the bases for himself but was ultimately removed when the Astros took the field. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Stay tuned. • Exits after HBP on hand
Bregman exited Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the left hand by a 93.4 mph sinker in the sixth inning, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: He will presumably go for tests to determine the extent of the injury beyond the initial designation of "discomfort". Bregman missed a game last week when the same hand swelled up after a similar injury. Trey Cabbage entered the game in left field while Mauricio Dubon moved to third base. Rotowire.com Today, 3:11 pm

    • Smashes grand slam
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and two RBI singles during Sunday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Rutschman busted the game open with his second career grand slam, giving the Orioles a 9-2 lead in the eighth inning. His contributions didn't end there, driving in two more batters with RBI singles in the third and seventh innings. His six total RBI were a career high, surpassing his previous best of four. Rutschman has generated a hit in 12 of his last 13 games, batting .339 with four home runs and 16 RBI with a 14.8 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com Today, 2:45 pm
    • Adley Rutschman drives in six runs in win
Adley Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a home run and six RBI in a 9-2 win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: The 26-year-old got the scoring started with an RBI single in the third inning before adding another RBI single in the 7th to give the Orioles a two-run lead and then a grand slam in the eighth inning to break the game wide open. Rutschman now has 13 home runs and 49 RBI on the season while hitting .306 and is back to staking his claim as the top fantasy catcher in baseball. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm
    • Returning to action Sunday
Marte (back) is starting at second base and batting second Sunday against the Padres.

Advice: The 30-year-old was scratched from Saturday's starting nine due to lower-back soreness but will end up sitting just one game. Marte is 11-for-26 with three homers, six RBI and a 4:7 BB:K through seven games in June, which has boosted his OPS for the season to .848. Rotowire.com Today, 10:02 am

    • Marte, Moreno back in lineup for Diamondbacks
Ketel Marte (back) is hitting second and playing second base Sunday against the Padres.

Advice: Marte and Gabriel Moreno (illness) are both back in the lineup for the D-Backs for their series finale against the Padres. Marte will handle the keystone with Moreno starting behind the plate and hitting eighth against Adam Mazur and the San Diego pitching staff. Rotoworld Today, 9:56 am

    • Still out of lineup
Seager (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Giants.

Advice: Seager will miss his third straight game Sunday due to a left hamstring strain he sustained Wednesday against the Tigers. The Rangers have an off day Monday, so the 30-year-old will have four days off before the upcoming road series against the Dodgers starting Tuesday. Josh Smith will once again start at shortstop Sunday, while Ezequiel Duran serves at the hot corner against Giants right-hander Keaton Winn. Rotowire.com Today, 7:54 am

    • Corey Seager (hamstring) out again Sunday vs. SF
Corey Seager (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Seager is going to miss a third straight game while dealing with a left hamstring injury. The 30-year-old is considered day-to-day, and there’s a good chance he returns to the lineup early next week. Josh Smith gets another start at shortstop in Seager’s absence and will hit second as Texas tries to avoid a three-game sweep. Rotoworld Today, 7:50 am

    • Yoshida (thumb) picks up hit in rehab game in AAA
Masataka Yoshida (thumb) went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Worcester.

Advice: Yoshida was the designated hitter for the WooSox on Saturday, and he’s scheduled to DH again for Worcester on Sunday. Assuming those games go well, the 30-year-old is expected to rejoin the Red Sox at some point later this week. He should be in the lineup on close to an everyday basis once he’s back.
