    Advice: Langeliers blasted a go-ahead two-run shot off Rangers starter Michael Lorenzen in the second inning before adding a two-run double in the fourth inning and an RBI triple a couple frames later to cap off a stellar five-RBI performance.     The Giants recalled Ramos from Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

    Advice: The 24-year-old has a .953 OPS in 30 games for Sacramento this season and will now receive a look in the big leagues as Jorge Soler (shoulder) lands on the injured list. Ramos has a career .470 OPS in the majors, but he's played in just 34 games and has never received an extended run of playing time.     The Giants placed Soler on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right shoulder strain, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Soler's shoulder has caused him to miss the last three games, and he'll now officially be sidelined for another several days. The move is retroactive to Sunday, so it's possible the 32-year-old slugger is able to return in a week, but the Giants will wait and see how his shoulder heals.
