    • MRI negative on Yimi Garcia’s elbow
Yimi Garcia’s MRI revealed no structural damage, but it’s still possible he’ll land on the IL with a nerve issue in his elbow.

Advice: The Blue Jays were happy with the MRI results and see this as a short-term issue, even if it might cost him 15 days. Brandon Eisert has joined the Jays as the likely replacement if Garcia goes on the IL. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

    • Yimi García dealing with right elbow soreness
Yimi García was removed from Sunday’s game against the Guardians with right elbow soreness.

Advice: Garcia is expected to undergo additional testing after being removed from a save situation with two outs in the ninth inning of Sunday’s win, which was eventually closed out by Nate Pearson. It’s unclear where Toronto manager John Schneider will turn for saves moving forward, with veteran stopper Jordan Romano (elbow) still on the injured list, but veteran Chad Green would presumably be the add in all fantasy formats here. It’s possible Pearson will get a look as well given his raw stuff. Rotoworld Today, 8:42 am

    • Plagued by long ball
Singer (4-4) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: All three runs charged to Singer came via home run, with Shohei Ohtani slugging a solo shot in the third inning and going back-to-back with Freddie Freeman in the sixth inning. Sunday's start was Singer's first allowing multiple home runs and was his second time in seven appearances completing six innings. Through 14 outings, Singer owns a 3.39 ERA and a 76:23 K:BB across 77 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Rangers in Arlington next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Goes deep in loss
d'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: d'Arnaud's second-inning homer was his sixth of the season but his first since April 22. It was also just the third multi-hit performance for d'Arnaud since late April, a span of 31 games. d'Arnaud has seen his playing time reduced dramatically since the return of Sean Murphy, seeing action in just eight games and collecting 24 at-bats since Murphy's return in late May from an oblique injury. • Posts season-high seven Ks
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk over 5.2 innings against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead, but after retiring the first two batters in the frame, he allowed four consecutive singles and was removed one out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. • Rafael Devers plates two as Red Sox top Yankees
Rafael Devers went 1-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday night as the Red Sox triumphed over the Yankees.

Advice: Devers delivered a sacrifice fly off of Marcus Stroman in the fourth inning that extended the Red Sox’ early lead to 4-1. He then added a valuable insurance run in the seventh with an RBI single that plated Jarren Duran to make it a 5-3 game. Devers then raced around to score on Connor Wong’s two-run triple. He’s having another solid season at the dish, slashing .284/.378/.550 with 13 homers, 36 RBI and one stolen base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm

    • Collects four more hits
Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's loss to Toronto.

Advice: Kwan has been unstoppable since returning from a hamstring injury May 31, hitting safely in all 11 games while batting a torrid .535 with one home run, six RBI and 11 runs scored. The 26-year-old's hot streak has propelled his average to .398, which would lead the league if he had enough plate appearances to qualify. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:42 pm

    • Slugs grand slam
Varsho went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win versus Cleveland.

Advice: Varsho took Nick Sandlin deep in the fifth inning to record the third grand slam of his career. Varsho has enjoyed a nice start to the month of June, batting .277 with eight extra-base hits and two steals. On the season, the versatile 27-year-old is batting .220 with 11 home runs, 35 RBI, 40 runs scored and seven stolen bases across 67 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Playing catch again
Bradford (rib/back) said June 5 that he has begun playing catch off flat ground from 120 feet, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Bradford turned some heads by opening the season with three wins and a 1.40 ERA and 0.62 WHIP through his first three starts, but he's been on the shelf since mid-April with a lower back strain and a small stress fracture of a rib. Nearly two months later, Bradford is finally throwing again, and assuming that he's responding well to long tossing, he could be cleared for bullpen sessions in the next week or two. Bradford is without a clear target date for a return from the 60-day injured list, but he may not have a rotation spot waiting for him once he's activated, as Max Scherzer (back/arm) and Tyler Mahle (elbow) could both rejoin the big club before him.
