    • Buckles against Bucs
Greene (5-3) took the loss Tuesday, surrendering six runs on seven hits and two walks over four innings as the Reds fell 9-5 to the Pirates. He struck out five.

Advice: Aggressive baserunning helped Pittsburgh score three times in the first inning before adding three more in the third, and Cincy was never able to climb out of the hole. The loss was Greene's first since April 22 -- over the 10 starts in between, he'd posted a sharp 2.80 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 62:26 K:BB through 61 innings. The 24-year-old right-hander will look to regain that form in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Today, 6:24 am
    • Swipes two bags
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases Tuesday against Seattle.

Advice: Lowe has started to heat up at the plate, as he's gone 11-for-30 with three homers, seven RBI and six runs scored across his last eight games. He's also shown a desire to steal bases, swiping three bags across his last three starts. Though Lowe had an injured-plagued first half of the season, he appears ready to deliver on lofty preseason expectations in the final months of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:08 pm
    • Homers, scores three times in loss
Henderson went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in a 10-8 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Henderson hit a two-run home run in the first inning then walked and scored in the third. He later singled and scored in the seventh frame and added another walk in the eighth. Henderson registered his seventh-multi hit game in June and is now slashing .333/.436/.667 with seven home runs and 14 RBI this month. On the season, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .282/.383/.607 with 25 homers, 55 RBI, 69 runs scored and 13 steals over 305 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
    • Dominates for ninth win
Skubal (9-3) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Phillies. He allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Advice: Skubal came into Tuesday in a bit of a slump, as he had allowed nine runs (eight earned) across 10.1 total innings in his previous two starts, which were both losses. The lefty got back on track in a big way, however, with a dominant performance against a tough Philadelphia lineup. It was the sixth time this season that Skubal didn't allow any runs in an outing, which is a big reason why he's sitting with a 2.32 ERA, good for fourth in the majors. Detroit's ace is having an outstanding year, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled appearance, which is tentatively set for next Tuesday against the Twins. • Hunter Greene coughs up six runs to Pirates
Hunter Greene allowed six runs on seven hits in four innings in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: The game started with Greene throwing up on the mound after delivering a first-inning fastball and it didn’t get much better from there. He struck out five and walked two and his velocity was fine on the day, but he clearly wasn’t feeling 100 percent. He posted a solid 27 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW, but the command wasn’t great and the Pirates were able to scratch out their runs on just one extra-base hit. Greene will hopefully be feeling better for his next start against the Cardinals this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm
    • Gunnar Henderson socks 25th homer in O’s loss
Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Henderson took Guardians lefty Logan Allen deep in the opening frame for his 25th big fly of the season as part of another multi-hit performance. The 22-year-old franchise cornerstone has lived up to fantasy managers’ lofty expectations entering the year by delivering a robust .282/.383/.607 triple-slash line with 69 runs scored, 25 homers, 55 RBI and 13 steals over 78 contests. • Tarik Skubal shuts down Phillies for seven frames
Tarik Skubal recorded seven strikeouts over seven scoreless innings on Tuesday in a win over the Phillies.

Advice: Skubal retired 13 of the final 14 batters he faced in a dominant performance at Comerica Park against a red-hot Phillies lineup. He generated an absurd 19 swinging strikes, including 11 on his changeup alone, and needed just 91 pitches (64 strikes) to navigate seven shutout frames. It was a much-needed rebound for the 27-year-old southpaw after allowing nine runs (eight earned) over his previous two starts against the Braves and Astros, respectively. He’ll carry a stellar 2.32 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 112/19 K/BB ratio across 97 innings (16 starts) into a road matchup on Tuesday against the Twins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:50 pm
    • Taking seat Tuesday
Murphy is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: After catching back-to-back games, Murphy will yield to Travis d'Arnaud behind the plate Tuesday. Murphy owns a .618 OPS with a 27.4 percent strikeout rate across 73 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:37 pm

    • Kyle Tucker (shin) ‘close’ to resuming running
Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking swings on Sunday and could resume running within the next few days.

Advice: The revelation comes courtesy of a team statement. It’s a welcome relief for fantasy managers as we were honestly starting to wonder whether Tucker was dealing with something more serious than merely a shin contusion. He’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab contests to get back up to speed after he’s ready to get back into game action, but it doesn’t sound like he’s too far away from making it back to Houston.
