    • Report: Tanner Scott could be next Marlin traded
      According to Buster Olney, sources told him that Tanner Scott is “the guy on their roster you’d look at” but Josh Bell could also interest teams as well.

      Advice: After the Marlins traded Luis Arraez this weekend, assuming a firesale would follow was only logical. Scott was electric as the closer for the Marlins last year, but has seen some control issues resurface this season. He has a 2.77 ERA and four saves, but he also has 14 walks in 13 innings. If he were to be traded, he would likely serve as a setup man, and the Marlins could turn back to A.J. Puk in the closer’s role which means Puk could be worth a speculative add in leagues.     • Feels good after throwing
      Sewald (oblique) said Sunday that he responded well to Saturday's inning of work in an extended spring training game, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports. "I haven't felt anything in 10 days now," Sewald said.

      Advice: Following the encouraging news, Sewald plans to travel with the team to Cincinnati, where he could be activated for Tuesday's series opener against the Reds. He opened the season on the injured list and paused rehab is rehab after an appearance April 23. He downplayed the pause and was reticent to call it a setback; instead, Sewald chalked it up to panic and wanted a re-imaging to ease his mind.       Assad (3-0) allowed four hits and three walks over six scoreless innings Sunday, striking out four and earning a win over the Brewers.

      Advice: Assad scattered baserunners throughout his start but never faced any heavy threats. He's allowed two or fewer runs in each of his first seven outings of 2024, but Sunday's performance was his first quality start since his season debut April 2. Assad dropped his season ERA to 1.66 with a 31:12 K:BB through 38 innings. He failed to factor into the decision in his previous three starts despite registering a 1.76 ERA over that span.       Rojas went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Astros.

      Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a walk and a grand slam during Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Nationals.

      Advice: Guerrero's grand slam in the second inning off MacKenzie Gore was his fourth of the season and first in 22 games. It was also the first time he homered this season with men on base as he had collected just 11 RBI and hit just .231 coming into the contest. Despite the power outage, Guerrero is currently in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, batting 11-for-32 (.344) with three doubles, a homer, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch.       Miller didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Astros, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Miller kept a clean sheet through five innings before surrendering a two-run home run to Kyle Tucker in the sixth and a two-run shot to Jon Singleton in the seventh -- a long ball that got Miller pulled. The outing marked Miller's third time allowing multiple homers this season and his three strikeouts were a season low. Through 41.1 innings, Miller owns a 2.61 ERA and a 42:13 K:BB.     • James Paxton stifles Braves in win on Sunday
      James Paxton allowed one run on five hits in 6 2/3 innings in a win over the Braves on Sunday.

      Advice: Paxton struck out three and walked two on the day with the only damage allowed being a solo home run to Marcell Ozuna in the seventh inning. He had just a 15 percent whiff rate and 17 percent CSW, so it certainly wasn’t a dominant performance, but he pounded the zone and kept the Braves off-balance.     • Runs wild against Mets
      Caballero went 0-for-2 with three walks, three runs scored and four stolen bases during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Mets.

      Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepaths, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after beginning the frame as the designated runner. He then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca.       Jon Gray held the Royals to two runs in seven innings and struck out seven on Sunday.

      Advice: Gray got 17 missed swings today, including 13 on just 34 sliders, and walked none in another excellent outing. Since giving up five runs in his season debut, he’s allowed a total of four earned runs in 36 innings, leaving him with a 2.50 ERA.
