    Advice: Altuve launched a solo blast off closer Hector Neris in the ninth inning to bring the Astros to within a run, but the team ultimately fell short. The long ball was Altuve's sixth of the season, though he has only eight RBI.     Castro went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double during Wednesday's 6-3 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Castro tagged Garrett Crochet for a three-run homer in the second inning, plating Austin Martin and Christian Vazquez for his second long ball of 2024.   • Ha-Seong Kim drives in two runs against Rockies
    Ha-Seong Kim went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Wednesday in a 5-2 win over the Rockies.

    Advice: Kim put the Padres on the board early with a two-run double in the first inning. He’d come around to score on a base hit as San Diego put four runs up in the opening frame. He added a base hit in the sixth for his second hit of the game.   • Zack Gelof (oblique) likely heading to 10-day IL
    Athletics’ manager Mark Kotsay told reporters after Wednesday’s game that Zack Gelof was diagnosed with a left oblique strain and will likely head to the injured list.

    Advice: That’s a tough break for the Athletics and for fantasy managers who were relying on the dynamic 24-year-old second baseman. No word yet on how much time he may miss, but oblique injuries usually take at least a couple of weeks to recover and could be even longer depending on the severity.     Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Marlins’ extra-inning loss to the Braves.

    Advice: Just like that, Arraez is batting .299 (32-for-107) after notching his seventh multi-hit performance in the last two weeks. He sparked Miami’s ninth-inning rally against Braves stopper Raisel Iglesias with a leadoff single to cap off a three-hit effort.
