  • Near-cycle in win
Grichuk went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Grichuk, who also doubled and tripled, nearly hit for the cycle. He's opened the month of June with a bang, going 9-for-17 with four extra-base hits, four RBI and five runs scored. He will remain a lineup fixture against left-handers, off whom he's hitting .313/.368/.463. Rotowire.com Today, 3:20 am
  • On track to play games
Thomas (hamstring) is expected to serve as the designated hitter for the Diamondbacks' entry in the Arizona Complex League on Thursday, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Advice: Thomas has been running the bases and will be on the field Wednesday at Chase Field to take batting practice and perform outfield work before heading to the ACL. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo reiterated a statement made earlier that Thomas may not need as many games as teammate Geraldo Perdomo, who had a seven-game (16 plate appearances) rehab assignment before his return from a knee injury Tuesday. • Racks up three hits in loss
Burleson went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: There wasn't much for the hitters early in this contest, but Burleson was able to account for two of the five runs on Pittsburgh starter Paul Skenes' line. Through 10 games in June, Burleson is batting .286 (12-for-42) with five extra-base hits. He continues to be consistent for the Cardinals with a .283/.314/.455 slash line, nine home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored and two stolen bases over 58 contests this season. Four of his homers have come in June. Rotowire.com Today, 12:10 am
  • Stays red-hot
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 10-1 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Judge launched his fourth homer of his last three starts, plating Juan Soto on a two-run shot in the seventh inning. The center fielder has also generated multiple hits in four straight games and eight of his last 10 contests. Lost in the mix of his absurd power streak -- which has seen his ISO surpass .400 -- Judge is striking out at a 24.1 percent clip this season, which would be a career low if it stands. • Lifts home run
Buxton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Buxton hit his fourth home run of the season Tuesday, plating Willi Castro on a two-run homer off Victor Vodnik in the seventh inning. Since returning from the IL on May 18, Buxton has tumbled down the Twins order and has now hit seventh in five of his last six games. After starting June hitless in his first 14 at-bats, Buxton is 5-for-16 (.313) in his last four games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm
  • Two thefts in win
Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Rodriguez is 12-for-39 (.308) over his first 10 games in June, though he's also posted a 4:13 BB:K. He was able to make an impact on the basepaths Tuesday with his first steals since May 29. The star outfielder is now 16-for-20 in stolen bases while slashing .271/.318/.348 with five home runs, 25 RBI and 33 runs scored over 69 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 pm
  • Removed with back tightness
Ward was removed from Tuesday's game against Arizona due to lower-back tightness.

Advice: The Angels described Ward's removal as precautionary, so it's unlikely he's dealing with a serious injury. The 30-year-old outfielder had gone 2-for-2 with a solo home run, an RBI double and a walk before leaving in the eighth inning, and he's now slashing .253/.331/.452 with 12 homers and 36 RBI on the season. • Dealing with sore knee
Manager Mike Shildt said after Tuesday's game versus Oakland that Profar was removed due to left knee soreness, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Profar's left leg gave out on him after he swung and missed at a pitch in the seventh inning, but it appears he escaped the incident without any significant damage. Shildt also noted that Profar has been dealing with problems in his knee for a while and is being viewed as day-to-day going forward. Should the 31-year-old outfielder have to sit out a game or two, David Peralta would likely be the next man up to serve as San Diego's left fielder. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:59 pm
  • Three hits in return to lineup
Hays went 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 4-0 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Hays hadn't started since Thursday after getting plunked in the ribs during that day's game. He had half of the Orioles' hits in his return to the starting lineup, and he played the full game in left field, so it appears he's 100 percent after short absence. The outfielder has gone 14-for-40 (.350) over his last 15 contests with six extra-base hits and six RBI in that span. His cold start to the year is still evident in his .234/.291/.362 slash line through 103 plate appearances, but Hays could reclaim a near-everyday role if he keeps hitting well. He's added two home runs, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and no stolen bases over 38 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:34 pm
