It looks like an agreement has finally been reached between MLB and the MLBPA! As of right now we will possibly have live, relevant baseball at the end of the upcoming month (July). I don’t know what this means for Yahoo! Fantasy. As I get more information, I will keep updates coming. Here’s hoping COVID-19 doesn’t shut it all back down.

Hey everyone,
Just checking in with a friendly reminder. We will be drafting tonight at 7:00pm Eastern Time. It may be a while until MLB plays games, if at all in 2020, but we will have rosters ready. There will be exceptions to the keeper rules from 2020-2021 due COVID-19’s impact on the current season. I look forward to seeing everyone in the draft room!

As MLB and Yahoo Fantasy continue to update information on the start of the MLB season, it appears that Yahoo has put forward a start date of May 7th to the fantasy baseball season. Because of this, we will continue to wait to draft. I have pushed the draft back to Sunday, May 3 at 7:00pm EDT.
I hope that we will have baseball at some point this year, as I fear May may be optimistic. I will continue to update the league as we continue with recent news updates on the Coronavirus epidemic. I hope that everyone is remaining healthy and safe.

Due to the unique Coronavirus situation, as many of you already know, MLB has suspended play indefinitely. As of right now, MLB Opening Day has been postponed two weeks. Because of this change, I have moved the draft back two weeks.
The new draft date will be March 29, 2020 at the same time, 7:00pm EDT.
As a baseball fan, I can't help but hope that we still get a full season of baseball. First and foremost though, is the safety of our country, and I hope all of you remain safe through this unprecedented time.

The draft date and time has been changed. I have moved the date up one week, March 15. The draft will also take place at 7:00pm. Because of this change, keepers are due by Sunday, March 8.

Welcome to the 2020 Boston Fantasy Baseball League season! If you are reading this, you now know that the BFBL has been renewed for another great baseball season. All 2019 managers have received automatic invites back for the current year. If any manager wishes to leave the league prior to the start of the season, please let me know so that I can find a suitable replacement manager.
The draft has been set for Sunday, March 22 at 8:00pm Eastern Time. The deadline to submit keepers is one week prior, Sunday, March 15. I will be posting a separate message on the league message board regarding keeper details for anyone who may have questions.
Welcome back to everyone, and I hope to see most, if not all of you sticking with the league for the 2020 season, and having a great year!
