The reigning, defending, undisputed Field Series Champion! The Clarksville Crushers!
The Clarksville Crushers have become the first back-to-back Field Series Champion since 2019. Congratulations to the Crushers on winning the League’s 20th Field Series and third in franchise history.
The Consolation Championship was taken by the Don Money Makers, giving them first overall position in next season’s draft.

Hello Managers!
The Field Series Championship is underway! The defending champion, Clarksville Crushers will look to become the first back-to-back champions since the Pilots in 2018-2019. A major tip of the ball cap to Crushers. Manager, Mitch S. who sold rounds 2, 4, 5, and 6 in the 2023 Draft for players contributing to a successful championship run last season, and still managed this year’s 4-seed, and back in the big dance!
Facing the defending champ and keeping the Cinderella dreams alive is the 6-seeded Bleacherbums. Manager, Scott J. returned to the BFBL with a mission. Locking down the final playoff spot in a final week win over the defending runner-up, Ancient Aliens, and knocking them out of the playoff picture, then going on a run. The Bleacherbums are competing in their first Field Series Championship in franchise history! We will see if they can keep that glass slipper dancing.
In the Consolation Championship, it’s the Don Money Makers vs. Eaton Her Pujols. Both teams were fairly even matched in the regular season. Don Money Makers manager, Phil T., revamped his whole roster at the start of the playoffs and should make for an interesting matchup to decide the 1st overall position in the 2024 Draft.
I will post final standings as it relates to the 2024 Draft after this week. I will also update the website with records, championships, and a full Draft outlook.

Hello Managers!
I apologize, it has been a while since I've checked in with a Commissioner's Note. Here we are. Knee deep in the BFBL Field Series Playoffs!
Congratulations to the Trash Can Grouches and Manager, Scott W. for winning the regular season pennant. This is the record breaking, 5th pennant in the franchise history, and the 2nd pennant for Manager, Scott W.
Rounding out the playoffs in standings order, we have:
Bay City Bombers
Featherless Chickens
Clarksville Crushers (Defending Field Series Champion)
Westport Pilots (2022 Pennant Winner)
Bleacherbums
Heading into the weekend, it looks like a great couple 1st round matchups, with close games in each, Chickens vs. Bleacherbums, and Crushers vs. Pilots (2019 Field Series rematch).
The Consolation Bracket starts next week for the 4 teams that did not make the Field Series Playoffs. This is important because it decides the the first 4 picks in the 2024 Draft. So, don’t give up on those consolation matchups.
7th Place: 1st pick (Consolation Champion)
8th Place: 2nd pick (Consolation Runner-Up)
9th Place: 3rd pick
10th Place: 4th pick

Seeing the pitch clock and infield shift bans in Spring Training games so far have been incredibly interesting. I think we're going to see fantasy stats impacted when the season starts.
