Keeping players:
- Keepers are declared at the beginning of next season. (Pre-draft)
- 16 players will be kept from year to year. (16 players from any position)
- All kept players must have been drafted the previous year. (Players claimed from "draft waivers" will be considered as drafted.)
- Free Agents (FA) added post-draft cannot be kept.
- Once a drafted player is dropped/cut they are no longer eligible to be kept and must be re-drafted the following year, UNLESS they are added while on waivers with a waiver claim and have NEVER been a free agent (FA) at any time before.
- If a team does not have 16 eligible players to keep, they will get draft picks* added at the END of the draft to fill their roster.
***If you don't want/like one of your keepers and you have no one to replace them with, you can choose not to keep that player and select a replacement POST draft.***
Trading players:
- Players acquired through trades can be kept by their new teams, as long as the player(s) meet the criteria stated above.
- If you are unsure if the player(s) involved in a trade are eligible to be kept see the Eligible Keeper List.
Trading future draft picks:
- We are able to trade the following year's (2023) draft picks.
- Only rounds 17-27 can be traded. (Rounds 1-16 are reserved for keepers)
- The draft will only be 11 rounds long. (Round 17= Rd. 1, Rd 18=Rd 2, Rd. 19=Rd 3, etc.)
- In order to trade for draft picks, an equal number of draft picks must be traded away.
*These draft picks cannot be traded.
