Mr. Olin Forman, the founder and owner of the Costarican Chatas, is a Man unequalled in his excellent team management. He is a Man who peers out from his mountain peak looking with pity upon those fantasy managers down below --- those who have aspired to greatness but failed.

Gentlemen, this is a reminder that the league trading deadline is August 17th. If you wish to do business, you'll need to get it in by that date.

Gentlemen, please note that keepers are due in Couch Managers All-Stars by Monday. Actually, the way Yahoo works is that they are due Monday morning at 12:01AM.

So please go into your team page and select 10 keepers. If you miss doing it for some reason, that's OK. Just E-Mail them to me on Monday.

If keepers are not selected by Monday night, I will select your 10 top ranked players according to Yahoo.

Gentlemen, welcome back to our outstanding league! This is the 6th year of our escapades. Glad so many managers came back. We lost a couple but were able to fill the slots with some excellent managers who will provide plenty of competition.

For the business side of things:

1) All trades from last year were automatically populated by Yahoo when I set the draft order. Glad to see it worked. At first I thought it wasn't but the problem was my user error. Yahoo did a nice job with the draft picks.

Note: Although the draft picks processed automatically, you may still want to check yours. (I'm mainly talking to you, Mr. Caveman....)

2) I have processed all the off-season trades. However, if I have missed anything, please let me know.

3) Please select 10 keepers for your team. Just go to your team page and take the 'select keepers' option. You can change them at any time so don't worry about that.
