The season starts tomorrow. Sports are finally back. I just checked settings and there are 4 IL spots. This should give us flexibility this year. Please check your lineups.

The season is 5 days away. I hope that once it starts, they will be able to complete without interruptions. Please review your lineups. You may need to make some changes due to some key players not deciding to play this year.

I have made an assumption that MLB will play 60 games this year. 60/162 = 37%.

I changed position players max games played to 60 to match the new season.

The number of innings it gave me a drop down list (525,550,575,600). I chose 575. 37% of 1450 is 537. I went with slightly more innings, since it is such a quick season.

I dropped number of transactions from 100 to 50. It didn't feel right to change to 37. We have already made transactions before the season started. 50 should give us more flexibility as we try to make the inning limit.

The league is for fun, so I hope that these changes are agreeable to everyone. I don't want to become like the owners and players and start a battle over rule changes.

The draft is tonight. I hope everyone is prepared. It is a little weird drafting a couple months out. It will give everyone a chance to pick people up once Spring training starts, if anyone gets off to a hot start. It also gives us something to do, since sports are halted.

Our max innings pitched is currently set to 1450. I'm hoping it allows me to change this setting before the first game, if the number of games this season changes. I will divide 1450/162 to get innings per game and then I will multiply by number of games.

I think this is the only setting that will be impacted if they change number of games played this year.

We now have 10 teams. Welcome James, Chris, and Phil.

I will publish the random draft order this weekend, so everyone knows the spot they are drafting and you can start preparing for the draft.

We did change the point system slightly from last year. Please review. The current player point totals reflect the changes, so you can see the impact to the different players.

Also, we have changed to a redraft league this year, so no need to draft for the future. You can just focus on the current year.

I'm curious to see how competitive it will be with 3 new teams and that we no longer can keep 3 players.

I have set the draft date/time to 3/18 at 7:00 p.m. Please let me know if this works for everyone. I can change if needed.

Due to a couple of manager's emails I decided to just keep it at 8 teams. Let us see how it works this year.

Again, it is no longer a keeper league. I still did draft order reverse of finish last year. This use to be due to us being a keeper league. I may go randomized next year.
