Looks like we are going to have 16 teams again, with one new owner stepping in. So for his benefit, and as a reminder to everyone else, I'll list the basic rules.
The league fee is $100. Plus $1 per free agent pick up. Please expect to pay me before you draft, and give me some extra money to cover free agents. The average team probably makes at least 25 moves.
The league is head to head. Match-ups are one week long unless yahoo says otherwise. You get to make up to 3 pick ups per week. There are no inning or at bat limits, but we set minimums. You need 30 innings pitched or else you forfeit all pitching categories. We also have a league rule that you need at least 100 at bats. Strategy sometimes dictates benching players, but we expect that everyone fields a team that actually plays most of the time.
Trades are evaluated by me. I will almost always approve them that day, unless I don't see it. We very rarely veto trades unless someone appears to be colluding or the trade is so terrible it would ruin the competitive nature of the league. I can only remember one trade ever that was vetoed.
The two division winners are the top seeds in the fantasy playoffs, and the next six best records regardless of division round out the playoff teams.
Prize money; each division winner gets $100. 3rd place gets $200. 2nd place gets $400. And the league champion gets $800 plus all the free agent money.
Any other questions or problems, please check with me. When in doubt, we use the yahoo default to decide things.
Good luck.
