This is basically just a copy and paste from a reply in one of the posts, but I wanted to make sure everyone sees it. For those that aren't caught up, KC & 42-1 decided on an offseason trade. Due to the team lists already being finalized, if I unlock the league, Yahoo implies that the draft pick customization could be deleted that was rolled over from last year. Therefore, no trades will be allowed until after the draft.

I tried to edit the draft order to process the KC and 42-1 trade. I've decided not to fuck with the draft order after the teams have been finalized. I really don't want to have a situation come up in the draft where the picks are wrong. I might not get a few Christmas cards from some of you, but I'm gonna go ahead and make the executive decision not to allow trading AFTER the teams lists have been finalized.
I'll send a note out to the entire league and I will amend the constitution to reflect this. Moving forward, off-season trading will end the day the teams have been finalized. Next year, I will wait to finalize the team lists 1 week prior to the draft. This will be the same day keepers and league finances will be due to make it easy to remember.
With all due respect, there has been plenty of time since last season ended to complete any trades. Trying to unlock the league now, 10 days prior to our draft, jeopardizes the accuracy of the imported picks Yahoo has rolled over.
I'll be the 1st to admit that this should have been outlined in the constitution, it's just that it has never come up for me to identify the problem..........
