Dynasty league:
The 25 man roster:
9 positional slots (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF and Util/DH)
4 BENCH slots for subs
5 DL
10 NA (not active) for any suspended players or prospects
To cut down on HOARDING starting pitchers, ALL 12 of your pitching slots MUST filled at ALL times (5 SP, 7 RP). THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE PITCHER IN A BENCH SLOT AT ANY TIME.
At draft time, keepers will be slotted in the later rounds (for example, if you want to keep 15 of your 25 players, those 15 take up the 15 later rounds in the draft leaving you to draft prospects or free agents in the first 10 rounds).
At the new season's opening (pre-draft), you will be able to keep/protect up to 25 players (since DL and NA slots are not active, they are NOT part of the 25 man roster).
