    Luis García Jr. went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, lifting the Nationals to a 12-3 blowout win over the Twins.

    Advice: García put the Nationals ahead with a two-run shot off Twins ace Pablo López in the second inning -- his fourth round-tripper of the season -- before adding a run-scoring single a couple frames later. The 24-year-old second baseman is finally starting to make the leap offensively at the highest level this season, batting .281 (38-for-135) with four homers and seven steals in 39 contests so far.     Sam Haggerty is out for the year after suffering a ruptured Achilles in a Triple-A game.
