    Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Monday that Myers will remain in the rotation, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

    Advice: Myers has held his own in two starts for the Brewers, allowing three runs with a 9:1 K:BB over 10 innings. With DL Hall (knee) and Jakob Junis (shoulder) still out and Wade Miley (elbow) done for the season the club didn't have much of a choice in giving Myers at least one more turn.   • Touches 98 mph in live BP
    Nationals manager Dave Martinez said that Cavalli (elbow) sat at 96 mph and touched 98 mph in a live batting practice session Monday, Spencer Nusbaum of the Washington Post reports.

    Advice: Martinez came away impressed with how the right-hander looked, saying Cavalli threw the ball "really well." Cavalli would appear to be nearing a rehab assignment, although he might be asked to throw another live BP or two first.     Nationals manager Dave Martinez told reporters that Cade Cavalli (elbow) threw “really well” in his live session Monday.

    Advice: Cavalli got his fastball up to 98 mph while averaging 96 with the offering. The right-hander is expected to begin a rehab assignment in the middle of May, and it’s encouraging to see that the fastball has zip on it.     Orioles manager Brandon Hyde confirmed Monday that Means (forearm) would rejoin the rotation this week for his season debut, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

    Advice: Hyde did not divulge which day Means will pitch, but he would be on regular rest Friday in Cincinnati. Means saved by far his best rehab start for last, as he struck out eight while allowing just one hit and one walk over seven scoreless innings for Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. The left-hander got his pitch count up to 95 in the outing, so he should be ready for a typical workload in his first start with the Orioles. Means is coming back from a left forearm strain.   • Activation imminent
    Duran (oblique) is with the Twins in Chicago for their series against the White Sox and his activation from the 15-day injured list appears imminent, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

    Advice: There's no word on Duran possibly being activated Monday, but it sounds like he should join the roster at some point during the series. The closer has been out all season with a right oblique strain but is ready to roll after making two rehab appearances. It's possible manager Rocco Baldelli will want to see Duran in a low-leverage spot or two initially, but it shouldn't be long before he's closing again for the Twins.     Advice: Senga told reporters that he expects to be able to return from the 60-day injured list when eligible, which would be May 27 in this case. The right-hander continues to make steady progress from the injury, and the next step will likely be a rehab assignment starting in the next week or so.
