    • Perfect for save No. 3
Munoz pitched a perfect ninth inning against the Rangers to earn a save.

Advice: Munoz picked up his first save since April 6, making quick work of Wyatt Langford, Travis Jankowski and Jonah Heim to close out the Mariners' win. He's now 3-for-4 in save chances this season and Thursday's outing could give him more leeway with Ryne Stanek breathing down his back for save chances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:45 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz hurls scoreless ninth for save
Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth to preserve a win for the Mariners on Thursday while picking up a save.

Advice: Muñoz needed just eight pitches to get through the inning, as the Rangers were aggressive against the 25-year-old. It’s the third save of the season for the right-hander, and he lowers his ERA to a solid 2.89 with the scoreless frame. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:59 pm
    • Goes four innings vs. Red Sox
McKenzie did not factor into the decision Thursday against Boston, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: McKenzie had to deal with traffic throughout Thursday's outing, though he was ultimately able to mitigate the damage thanks to a season-high seven strikeouts. He'd fail to qualify for a win, however, only making it through four innings after throwing 75 pitches, as Cleveland continues to monitor the 26-year-old's workload after he made just four starts in an injury-plagued 2023 campaign. Overall, McKenzie is 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 18:17 K:BB through four starts (22 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Astros in his next start Wednesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • McKenzie has mini bounceback vs Red Sox
Triston McKenzie allowed two runs on six hits in four innings in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Six hits in four innings isn’t great, but McKenzie did strike out seven batters and walk just two. However, McKenzie’s fastball still averaged just 91 mph which is not what we want to see. He was able to get whiffs on it against a depleted Red Sox lineup that was without Triston Casas, Tyler O’Neill, and Masataka Yoshida, but it’s hard to feel overly confident since McKenzie was not able to find the strike zone with his curve on Thursday either. His ERA now sits at 4.91 on the season, and he’s not a recommended start next week in Houston. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:30 pm
    • Goes four-plus in rehab start
Buehler (elbow) was charged with five runs (three earned) over four-plus innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Advice: He permitted seven hits, walked two and struck out five. The line for Buehler wasn't pretty, but keep in mind that the game was pitched at high altitude at Albuquerque, so the results were mostly secondary. Buehler got his pitch count up to 86 and averaged 94.1 mph with his four-seamer, which is down 1.1 mph from what he averaged during the 2022 season prior to Tommy John surgery. It's possible this was Buehler's final rehab start, but that determination hasn't been made yet. He could potentially make his season debut as soon as Tuesday in Arizona. • Three more steals Wednesday
De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and three stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It's already the second three-steal game for De La Cruz this season -- he's up to a league-leading 15 stolen bases on the campaign. The 22-year-old shortstop has been sensational through the first month of the year, batting .313 with a 1.063 OPS, seven home runs, 23 runs scored and 18 RBI through his first 24 games. • Elly De La Cruz swipes three bases in victory
Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double and three steals as the Reds topped the Phillies 7-4 on Wednesday.

Advice: De La Cruz has finally gotten to ascend to the second spot in the lineup that he was expected to fill during spring training. It’s early, but he’s finally blossoming into the five-category superstar that optimistic fantasy managers willing to overlook his contact issues were envisioning, batting .313/.412/.820 in 97 plate appearances. He’s stolen 15 bases in 18 attempts, and he seems like the best bet of anyone to lead the majors in that category this season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:57 pm

    • Luis Arraez posts three hits in loss to Braves
Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Marlins’ extra-inning loss to the Braves.

Advice: Just like that, Arraez is batting .299 (32-for-107) after notching his seventh multi-hit performance in the last two weeks. He sparked Miami’s ninth-inning rally against Braves stopper Raisel Iglesias with a leadoff single to cap off a three-hit effort. He’s in the midst of an extended hot streak at the moment and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if he were back in the batting title race in a few weeks. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:32 pm

    • Shut down for seven days
LeMahieu is still dealing with swelling in his right foot and will be shut down from baseball activity for a week, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Advice: LeMahieu had to make an early exit from his first rehab game at Double-A Somerset on Tuesday after his fractured right foot began bothering him in the first inning. After getting checked out by team doctors Wednesday, he will officially be pulled off his rehab assignment and shut down from all activity for the next seven days. Next steps for the 35-year-old infielder will be determined once his seven days are up, though it seems his target return date will be pushed back well into May. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:23 pm
