      Advice: The 34-year-old outfielder capped a seven-run eruption for the Blue Jays in the third inning when he drove a Brayan Bello slider into the right-center field bullpen at Fenway Park. Springer is having the worst season of his career by a wide margin -- Tuesday's long ball snapped a 17-game homer drought, and it highlighted his first multi-hit performance since June 3.       Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run and five RBI in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Mets.

      Advice: Most of his damage came on a grand slam in the eighth inning off Reed Garrett as the Yankees tried to mount a comeback from a 9-1 deficit.       Santander went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Santander's up to 12 homers over 24 contests in June. The power surge is impressive, though he's losing a little consistency at the plate by going just 2-for-15 over the last four games. That quiet stretch has taken some of the wind out of his sails as he looks to get his season-long numbers at a respectable level.       Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

      Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick.       George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out.       Anthony Santander slugged a solo homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Santander went deep off Guardians reliever Sam Hentges in the eighth inning of this one. He’s homered 12 times since the start of June and is up to 21 round-trippers on the year already.       Carpenter (back) took swings off a tee Monday and participated in throwing/running drills Tuesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

      Advice: The 26-year-old was shut down in late May due to a lumbar spine stress fracture, but he's now back to taking part in baseball activities. Carpenter still has significant rehab work to do before being ready for game action, and he'll likely require a minor-league rehab assignment before rejoining the Tigers.     • Expects to be out four weeks
      Stanton said Sunday that he expects to be out for roughly four weeks as a result of his strained left hamstring, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

      Advice: Stanton landed on the 10-day injured list Sunday and received a platelet-rich plasma injection to aid in his healing process, but it doesn't seem like the slugging outfielder is on track for a speedy recovery. Trent Grisham could be a candidate to start nearly everyday for the Yankees while Stanton is sidelined, especially if the team decides to use Aaron Judge as its primary designated hitter going forward.       Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone said after Sunday’s game that Giancarlo Stanton was diagnosed with a mild left hamstring strain.

      Advice: The 34-year-old slugger received a PRP injection on Sunday as well and told reporters that he expects to spend around four weeks on the injured list. That leaves a gaping hole in the middle of the lineup that the Yankees will need to fill for the next month or so.
