    • On base three times Sunday
Wood went 1-for-2 with two walks and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The 21-year-old rookie is already being pitched around and treated as the most dangerous hitter in the Nationals' lineup, drawing six free passes in his first seven MLB games. Wood is doing damage when he gets his bat on the ball too, batting .320 (8-for-25) with a double, a homer and six RBI while hitting third against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Today, 9:56 am
    • Extremely efficient versus Yankees
Crawford (5-7) earned the win Sunday against the Yankees after tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits. He struck out four.

Advice: Crawford was incredibly efficient Sunday night, needing just 68 pitches to coast through seven frames while throwing 54 strikes. Crawford's never pitched into the eighth before, and while he certainly could've based on pitch count, manager Alex Cora decided to turn to the bullpen for the final six outs. Crawford contributed to shutting out the Yankees offense for the first time since April and now owns an 11:0 K:BB over his last 13 innings after back-to-back starts without issuing a walk. The 28-year-old now owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106:28 K:BB in 105.2 innings and will look to finish out the first half strong as he prepares to face the Royals at home in a weekend series. • Kutter Crawford goes seven scoreless to beat Yanks
Kutter Crawford delivered a brilliant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Yankees, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. He needed just 68 pitches (54 strikes) to get through his seven innings. Crawford has never pitched into the eighth inning in his big-league career though, and the Red Sox trusted their bullpen to get the final six outs. Crawford generated nine whiffs on the night while posting an elite CSW of 38 percent. He’ll attempt to finish the first half strong as he carries a stellar 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106/28 K/BB ratio (105 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Royals. • Tallies four hits in win
Langford went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 13-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: This was Langford's second four-hit game over his last seven contests after he hit for the cycle last Sunday. The outfielder is 12-for-26 (.462) in that span, and he's also added a 4:6 BB:K. It's taken him some time, but it appears he's found some consistency at the plate midway through his rookie year. Langford is slashing .270/.337/.398 with four home runs, 37 RBI, 28 runs scored, 11 doubles, four triples and seven stolen bases over 66 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:22 pm

    • Paul Skenes headlines pitchers for N.L. All-Stars
Pirates’ rookie right-hander Paul Skenes was named to his first National League All-Star team on Sunday, despite having logged just 59 1/3 innings at the big-league level.

Advice: It’s the first of what should be many All-Star game nods for the studly 22-year-old hurler who has gone 5-0 with a 2.12 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and a 78/12 K/BB ratio through his first 10 MLB starts. He’ll be joined on the N.L. All-Star squad by fellow pitchers Ranger Suarez, Tyler Glasnow, Shota Imanaga, Reynaldo Lopez, Logan Webb, Chris Sale, Zack Wheeler, Ryan Helsley, Tanner Scott, Robert Suarez, Matt Strahm and Jeff Hoffman. • Returns to starting nine
Altuve (hand) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Advice: For just the fourth time all season, Altuve missed out on a start in Saturday's 9-3 loss while he recovered from a hand contusion stemming from being hit by a pitch in Friday's 13-12 win. The day off was apparently all Altuve needed to heal up from the bruise to his left hand, as he'll take back his usual spot in the field and atop the batting order for the series finale. Altuve had been running hot at the dish prior to sitting out Saturday, slashing .400/.449/.556 with two home runs and three stolen bases over his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:16 am

    • Taking seat with sore knee
Alvarez (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, Astros manager Joe Espada said that Alvarez's right knee is still "pretty sore" after the 26-year-old was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning of Saturday's 9-3 loss. Alvarez was ultimately removed from Saturday's contest in the eighth inning, and he'll now miss out on a start for the first time since June 19 while he receives treatment for the knee. Espada seemed to downplay the injury and suggested that Alvarez could hit in the batting cage Sunday, though the Astros could still look to stay away from Alvarez in the series finale even if a potential pinch-hitting situation emerges. After Sunday's game, the Astros are off Monday before kicking off a three-game series with the Marlins on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 am

    • Yordan Alvarez out with knee issue Sunday
Yordan Alvarez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Twins due to a right knee contusion.

Advice: Alvarez was pulled from the loss to Minnesota on Saturday after he was plunked in the knee. The 27-year-old slugger will at least begin Sunday’s game on the bench as a precaution with Mauricio Dubon in left field and Yainer Diaz the designated hitter. For now, Alvarez should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:35 am

    • Altuve returns to lineup, Alvarez out vs. Twins
Jose Altuve (hand) is back in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Twins.

Advice: Altuve is in the starting lineup after suffering a bruise on his left hand that kept him out Saturday. That’s good news for the Astros and fantasy managers, but the team will be without Yordan Alvarez (knee) for Sunday’s finale against Minnesota. Altuve will hit leadoff and play second base in his return to the fold. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:33 am
