    • Three hits in Tuesday's win
Kiermaier went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Getting the start in center field and batting ninth, Kiermaier produced his first multi-hit performance since May 8. The veteran defensive whiz came into the game slashing a woeful .111/.135/.194 over 38 plate appearances in June with a 46.2 percent strikeout rate, and only a recent back issue for Daulton Varsho has given Kiermaier consistent starts again. He remains a long way from fantasy utility, even in deep formats. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago
    • DL Hall gets through 2 2/3 scoreless in rehab
DL Hall pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings in his latest rehab appearance with Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.

Advice: Hall, on the IL since late April with a sprained left knee, allowed four hits, walked one and struck out none, so a dominant performance this was not. Hall’s 46 pitches were his high total in four appearances since he restarted his rehab assignment on June 13. At this rate, he might be optioned to the minors instead of rejoining the major league roster when his rehab assignment concludes. Rotoworld 8 minutes ago

    • Sitting out Wednesday
Benson is absent from the lineup for Wednesday contest versus the Pirates.

Advice: It's a rare day off against a right-hander for Benson, as the Pirates are sending righty Luis Ortiz to the hill in the series finale. Nick Martini, Stuart Fairchild and Jake Fraley will be in the outfield for Cincinnati. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago

    • Spencer Torkelson homers twice in Triple-A game
Spencer Torkelson went 3-for-4 with two homers and six RBI for Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

Advice: Torkelson had some nice games immediately after being sent down by the Tigers, but he was in the midst of a two-week slump before breaking out of it last night. Overall, he’s at .274/.372/.452 with three homers in 18 games for Toledo. The Tigers might give him another opportunity soon, but there’s a good argument that Parker Meadows, who has hit .285/.378/.519 since his demotion, is more deserving at this point. • Getting fourth straight start
Fairchild will start in center field and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Fairchild has largely served as a short-side platoon outfielder this season, but he'll pick up his fourth consecutive start -- with three coming against right-handers -- as a replacement in center field for the injured TJ Friedl (hamstring). The 28-year-old went 3-for-12 with a double, a stolen base, three RBI and a run across his previous three starts and is slashing .216/.297/.331 overall on the season. • Could miss multiple days
Arcia (head) got checked out at a local hospital Tuesday after continuing to feel unwell Monday night, and while tests came back negative, the shortstop could be sidelined for multiple days, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: "We'll probably give him two or three days," manager Brian Snitker said prior to Tuesday's game being rained out. "We'll look at him tomorrow and see - he might be available." Arcia left Monday's game due to dizziness that was initially attributed to dehydration, although no official diagnosis has been announced. Atlanta is set to play a doubleheader Wednesday against the Cardinals following the rain-out, but Arcia could end up sitting for the entire twin bill if he's still not feeling 100 percent. Zack Short will handle shortstop duties until he's ready to return, and Luke Williams was called up Tuesday to provide depth at the position. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

    • Alex Faedo (hip) begins rehab assignment
Alex Faedo retired two of the three batters he faced in his first rehab appearance for Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

Advice: Faedo has been out for three weeks with hip inflammation. He should return to the Tigers pen in the near future. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

    • Allan Winans fans nine in Triple-A start
Allan Winans struck out nine over six scoreless innings for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Advice: Winans is on some kind of roll at that moment; his last four starts have seen him allow one earned run and post a 34/4 K/BB in 25 innings. The 28-year-old made one start for the Braves back in April, giving up six earned runs in five innings, but he’ll be in line for another shot if something opens up. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Receiving rest Wednesday
Candelario is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Candelario will get a routine day off after he had been in the lineup for each of the previous five contests. Spencer Steer and Santiago Espinal will occupy the corner-infield spots for the Reds on Wednesday. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago
