    • Royce Lewis (groin) nearing rehab assignment
Twins’ manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters on Saturday that Royce Lewis (groin) could potentially begin a minor league rehab assignment next week.

Advice: Baldelli noted that Lewis has been hitting and running without any issues and did so again on Saturday. He should only need a couple of games at the minor league level before he’s ready to rejoin the Twins’ offense. With Carlos Correa (heel) sidelined, they could certainly use his bat in the middle of the lineup. Rotoworld Today, 1:49 pm

    • Bochy: Josh Jung (wrist) likely back by August
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy told reporters he hopes Josh Jung (wrist) will be activated by the start of August.

Advice: Bochy added that Jung was able to swing a bat again on Saturday and will head out on a minor league rehab assignment at some point soon. The 26-year-old slugging third baseman remains without an official target date to return, but he’s no longer dealing with any pain in his surgically-repaired wrist, and figures to be ready for game action this upcoming week. • Swipes 19th bag
Chisholm went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: With trade rumors swirling around him, Chisholm has been having a little trouble staying focused at the plate. The 26-year-old has a .185/.290/.296 slash line through 13 games in July with two homers, three RBI and six runs, but he's kept his fantasy value afloat by adding five steals, giving him 19 on the season -- just four short of the career-high 23 he pilfered in 2021. • Resting versus LHP
Greene isn't in the Tigers' lineup Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: With southpaw Yusei Kikuchi set to take the mound for Toronto, the left-handed bat of Greene will step out of the lineup. While he rests, Ryan Vilade, Matt Vierling and Wenceel Perez will start across Detroit's outfield. Rotowire.com Today, 9:26 am
    • Perfect day at dish
Witt went 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Friday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Witt picked up where he left off after a terrific first half by belting a solo homer in the first inning. He later knocked an RBI single in the third and scored another run during the Royals' five-run fifth. Witt has been unstoppable over the last few weeks; in 13 games since June 30, he's slashing .471/.482/.863 with nine extra-base hits. For the season, Witt owns a .944 OPS with 65 RBI, 22 steals and 17 home runs through 429 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:08 am
    • Bobby Witt Jr. goes 3-for-3, hits 17th homer
Bobby Witt Jr. finished 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and a walk versus the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Witt hit just one homer in his final 24 games in June, but this gives him five in 12 games in July. It’s a bummer that his stolen base pace has slowed — he has just one steal in a month — but 30/30 remains possible with him sitting at 17 homers and 22 steals through 98 games. • Tovar homers, drives in two against Giants
Ezequiel Tovar homered and drove in two runs while going 2-for-5 against the Giants on Friday.

Advice: Tovar extended the Colorado lead to 7-3 with a solo homer in the eighth. He drove in his first run of the game — and 44th of the season — with an infield single an inning earlier. Tovar has been solid despite an 0-for-28 streak in early July with 17 homers and a .772 OPS. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:51 pm

    • Three hits in win
Moreno went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 5-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: It's an encouraging start to the second half for Moreno after he'd gone just 2-for-17 in six games prior to the All-Star break. The 24-year-old backstop opened the scoring with an RBI single off Justin Steele in the third inning. Overall, Moreno's slashing .251/.336/.374 with four homers, 32 RBI and 30 runs scored across 268 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:11 pm

    • Stumbles vs. Arizona
Steele (2-4) took the loss Friday against the Diamondbacks, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It was a tough start to the second half for Steele, who allowed a season-high nine hits en route to his first loss since June 7. The left-hander delivered seven straight quality starts prior to the All-Star break, posting a stellar 1.65 ERA in that span (49 innings). Steele's ERA now sits at 3.07 with a 1.02 WHIP and 87:20 K:BB across 15 starts (91 innings) this season. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week at home against Milwaukee. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:04 pm
